"Smile!" Kevin yelled and I grinned, allowing myself to forget any sadness I had left inside of me. 

"Nice!" the boy called before jogging up to me and handing me my phone. 

"Wait, we should take a selfie together!" I quickly said and grabbed onto Kevin's arm. 

I dragged my best friend over towards the railing that was facing the sea and quickly held up the phone, turning it 90 degrees to take a selfie. 

As a soft click sound was heard and a flash of light came, I thought I saw a figure watching us from the distance. 

but it was gone the next second. 

No Ashlyn

Shaking my head, I showed Kevin our successful selfie before deciding I was hungry. 

"Let's eat something!" I said, skipping off as Kevin followed. 

The male chuckled and asked me what I wanted to eat. I shrugged and allowed Kevin to pick, not really craving anything at the moment. 

Suddenly, I felt something wet land on my arm and looked up in time to see sheets of rain of pouring down on me. 

Gasping in joy, I held my arms out and closed my eyes, enjoying the feeling of gentle pricks of water all over my body and the new freshness I was feeling. 

"Ashlyn! You're going to get sick!" I heard the voice of Kevin yell but I ignored it. 

No one could take me away from rain. 

*Flashback*

"What the heck are you doing!? You're gonna get sick you idiot!" Sunwoo yelled as I merrily skipped in the rain. 

"Join me Sunwoo!" I dramatically gasped, holding my arm out in his direction. 

Sunwoo glared at me before rolling his eyes and running out into the rain, taking my hand and intertwining our fingers. 

I felt my heart beat faster at the contact and blushed, making sure that Sunwoo couldn't see it. 

We both ran down the road together, arms linked and laughing while people under shelters stared at us like we were crazy kids.

I mean, we are but-  

"This is wonderful!" I cried in pure happiness.

In the corner of my eyes I saw Sunwoo staring at me with nothing but adoration in his eyes. He had a faint smile on his face, pleasure reflecting through his facial expressions. 

"You're beautiful." he whispered but I didn't hear it. 

I was too busy playing with the water. 

"Let's head inside now, I don't want you to get sick" Sunwoo said and practically dragged me out of the rain and into his parked car. 

He forced me into the passenger seat and quickly ran around the car, getting into the driver's seat. 

"There." he sighed in relief when we were both sitting inside, safe and warm. 

I giggled and turned my attention to the drops of water on the windows of the car. 

"Seriously, why rain?" Sunwoo suddenly growled angrily. 

I rested myself against the seat and tilted my head, looking at the now annoyed male. 

"I like rain". I smiled and watched Sunwoo as he attempted to dry himself. 

Sunwoo's white shirt had become see through, his toned chest and newly formed abs slightly visible through the drenched material. The first few buttons of his shirt had come undone and his slender fingers were trying to button them back, his head shaking the whole way. Sunwoo's red hair, which I had grown to love, was just messy, the bangs stuck to his forehead. 

I'd never say it out loud, but Sunwoo looked hot. 

"Why are you staring at me?" he suddenly asked, causing me to jump and look away, my body burning with embarrassment. 

"W...What do you mean?" I stuttered, pink hue sitting on my cheeks. 

I felt a gentle grip on my chin and felt my face being turned until I met Sunwoo's gorgeous almond eyes. 

The male didn't say anything, just continued to stare at me and I made no movement to stop him. I felt the temperature of the car rise, making the space seem hotter than it actually was. 

The point that we were both wet wasn't helping. 

Sunwoo's eyes drifted to my lips and without warning he started to lean towards me. My eyes widened but I stayed still, feeling anticipation all over me. 

Was he going to kiss me?

My eyes wandered onto his plump red lips and I suddenly wondered how it would feel to have them against mine. 

"Ash..." Sunwoo whispered before capturing my lips in his. 

"Ashlyn come one!"

My eyes shot open and I gasped in shock as the memory disappeared. 

I noticed myself being dragged into shelter by Kevin and suddenly remembered where I was and what was happening. 

"Kevin!" I sighed before pulling my hand away. 

"Are you okay? You were just playing in the rain and then seemed to space out." he glanced towards me anxiously, worry clear in his eyes. 

"I'm fine." I muttered, looking away from his concerned face. 

"Oh Ashlyn..." Kevin sighed shaking his head as we both stood in silence, waiting for the rain to disappear. 

I closed my eyes, silently begging myself to forget the memory that still faintly lingered in my mind.
