I got to the Quidditch stadium and a few people were already flying around and chucking the quaddle back and forth. Draco was on the ground talking to Marcus.

"Hey, we ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah just about, go join the others." Said Marcus.

The rest if training went pretty smoothly. I stopped a mkst off the goals but also nearly fell off my broom multiple times. At one point I ended upside down with my legs being ht eon,y thing keeping my up. Whenever this happened Draco just stared at me a snickered. What a helpful person. Yes, staring will definitely make me get back on my broom faster. At least I didn't actually fall off unlike one of the chasers. They'll probably be in hospital overnight with a broken wrist but should be fine in time for the Slytherin verses Gryffindor match.

Later that night was the Halloween Ball - to be honest it was literally just a party where noone wanted to dance and ate too much food. People didn't have dates and just went with friends and only a couple of people ever dressed up. I wasn't one for embarrassing myself so just wore a simple, tight, black dress with neon orange strips down my sides. It did not look the best on me. My hips bones were too high and my legs not nearly thick enough for show. Oh but floaty dresses were not nearly Halloween-y enough for Hermiones taste and for some reason I just had to listen to her. My only actually attractive quality was probably just my height, but then again I was taller than a lot of boys when I wore heels. Poor Harry looked like a midget standing next to me. Hah! The chosen one, made to look silly. And because of me! Well done me.

But seriously, why was everyone so small? I guess I'll have to wear flat shoes then. I applied some glowing orange eyeshadow to match the neon and curled my blonde hair so it bounced around my shoulders.

I went to find Hermione and Luna at the stairs to the Great Hall. Luna was wearing blue? Okay. Sure, a blue low back dress with a fluffy blue cardigan. Very seasonal. And Hermione was nearly matching me but had a deep purple dress with bright red neon. Heels! Glorious heels! That was the only thing missing from my set up. At least Hermione had to be the same height as me now. We went to find Ron who was Hermione's date. Kind of her date. He was already scoffing down chocolate at the table. Oh and so were Fred and George but they were deciding to pour something out of a vial onto the Turkish delights. It was fine, noone eats those anyways.

"Hey guys," Fred said. He seemed to be the only one who had noticed us. He elbowed George in the side and he tried to hide the vial like he hadn't been doing anything.

"Uh, Hey. Um, don't eat those" He nodded to the gelly filled chocolates. I want going to even if he hadn't done anything to them. Then his eyes went wide as he noticed me.

Fred slapped him in the back of the head. "Jesus George. Seriously, it's never gonna happen."

I nodded at him with a grin on my face. It was nice to know at least someone found me attractive. Even if that someone was George.

I spotted Neville dressed in a simple jeans with a baggy jumper, it had a massive smiling pumpkin on the front. I waved over at him and he smiled and started walking over. Movement behind him caught my eye and Draco was stood with his hand open near his chest. He then turned red, realising I wasn't waving at him and walked to the other end of the hall.

"Isabella? You there?" Damn, I was staring again. I couldn't help it. He was looking so nervous and actually wearing nice clothes for once. Black jeans, black t-shirt and a dark red blazer. He seems to be looking around for someone but couldn't find them.

"Just a sec." I said and walked over in his direction.

"Draco!" I called out. He turned to face me and his cheeks turned the slightest shade of red.

"You look-"

"Hey Drac-y" A voice chimed. Pansy walked over, she was wearing a golden, mid thigh length dress that showed waay too much cleavage. "Oh, Isabella. How- nice to see you." Recently I had told her not to hang around with me anymore and didn't give an explanation. What was I supposed to say? Sorry, I heard you've been a little too friendly with my secret kisser? Yeah, that wasn't going to happen.

She possessively wrapped an arm around his waist and Draco just stood there awkwardly. Oh, they came together. Ew. "Anyways, what were you guys talking about. Can't have been much seen as Draco hates you." How was she so cheery? All of that was said with a huge grin on her face. She looked like a complete psychopath.

"You know, Quidditch and stuff." I nodded. Giving Draco a sarcastic smirk. I didn't blame him for going with her, its not like I asked him or anything. Besides, it was funny to see him cringe as she planted a kiss on his cheek.

"Aww, that's my little Seeker!" How did I ever like her? She was so weird and *internal shudder*.

"Uhh, thanks?" Said Draco, unsuccessfully trying to prize her hands off his shirt collar. 'Help me!' He mouthed.

I shook my head and smiled. His fault for coming with her. Huh. So this was why I was in Slytherin. Cool.

"I'm gonna check out the drinks. Coming Draco?" Pansy asked, well more demanded.

"Um, I'm good but you go." Draco said.

I started laughing as she walked away. "You, you came with her? Oh God!"

"Hey! Don't judge. I've been pretty lonely. I needed a- Nevermind."

"I've been lonely to, you don't see me coming with Dean." Dean was known for being overly forwards and last year his victim was poor Ginny.

"Fair enough."

Dancing music started playing.

"Care to dance?" Draco asked.

"Mmkay." I took his arm dramatically and walked over to the floor, both of us laughing with the ridiculousness of it.

Only a few people were actually dancing, lots stood there kind of shimmying? In groups with their friends. Some were just full on making out. This included Pansy and Dean, I guess coming with a date meant nothing then. Shouts of 'Get a Room!' were echoed across the hall, most of which coming from the Weasley twins.

Draco just stood there.

"You know that's not dancing, right?" I grabbed his hands and put them around my waist and then I linked mine around the back of his neck.

He blushed but didn't move away. Who knew Malfoy could be so self-conscious. I pulled myself close to him and swayed to the music.

"Oi, Fred!" A voice said. "Is that Izzy and Draco?" It was Ron. You know what I didn't care that he had seen us, we were just dancing.

Fred laughed, "Hm, yeaah it is. Hey George! Look what we did! Dancing with the enemy!"

Ron and Fred giggled like little children. I turned my head to look at them but Draco lifted a finger to my chin and pulled it back so I was looking at him.

"I don't care." He whispered. "Neither should you."

I pulled his head down and kissed him gently on the lips. I was just a small kiss but it sent waves of tingles down my body and caused the Weasley numpties to burst into cheers. Even George joined in.
