Her kiss left my lips tingling. Anger was bubbling inside of me but her touch left on me was keeping it in. I needed to hate her. For her to hate me. Then none of this would be a problem, but that's not how things went. I couldn't resist her.

I collapsed onto the couch, running my hands through my hair. What am I going to do? I should never have told her about me. She was involved now and I couldn't just ignore it all. Whatever I do she's going to get hurt.

I should never have drunk that much after Quidditch trial, I never should've kissed her, I never should've told her I was a Death Eater. Now everything was messed up. If only I had been more careful, I could be with her, without all of these problems.

"Fucks sake." I muttered.

If only she didn't know.

Eventually, I heaved myself off the bed and changed into fresh robes, ready for lessons.

There was whispering outside my door.

"C'mon Lily. Skip, please." Dean said.

She laughed gently, "Hmm. I'll think about it."

The door opened and Dean's face peered inside, he closed the door quickly. "Your roomates in."

"Move." Lily forcefully opened the door. "Uh, hey."

"Don't worry, I'll leave." I hastily grabbed my charms book off my table and stuffed my wand in my robe pocket. Barging past Dean as I left, he trailed a hand across my shoulder and pulled me to a stop.

"Don't go so quickly." He whispered into my ear.

"Get the fuck off her." Draco's voice growled. Dean released me instantly but instead of retreating, he walked down the stairs to stand face-to-face with Draco.

"What are you going to do about it, you slimey little ferret." Dean laughed.

"Dean," Lily's voice snarled. "Don't."

He came back up the stairs, as he walked past me his hand connected firmly with my back between my shoulder blades. I stumbled down a step, trying to regain my balance, but tripped face first - my arms stretched in front of me and my wrists crunched on the impact.

Draco stormed past me, not caring to help me up. "You little- " His fist connected with Deans cheek, his head ricocheted off the door behind him. A sickening thud echoed down the staircase.

I pulled myself off the floor, in time to watch Dean collapse onto it with a knee to the gut. He doubled over onto his knees, clutching his stomach. Lily screamed as Draco started to kick him.

"Draco!" I shouted. I attempted to pull him backwards by his shoulders but he didn't move, he stopped attacking and  glared down at Dean cowering on the floor. "Draco."

He spat onto the floor next to his head and shoulder barged past me down the stairs. I stared in shock at Dean, Lily looked sick.

"Come on. We need to get him to the Hospital Wing." I said to Lily.

Dean was moaning on the floor as we each took him by an arm and heaved him off the ground. "I'm gonna kill that bastard." He croaked.

I walked grumpily to lesson after dropping off Dean. Lily and I walked in awkward silence, not bothering to fill it.
