✔️ ⬇️ ADH ( Adenocorticotropic Hormone)
✔️Due to hypophysectomy

ASSESSMENT:
1. Polyuria = 10-15 L/day ( check specific gravity of urine N: 1.010-1.030)
* Low spec. Gravity : Urine is Diluted (DI)
* High spec. Graviyy : Urine is concentrated (Dehydration)
2. Hypotension and dehydration
3. Dec. LOC

IINTERVENTION:
1. Inc. Oral fluid intake
2. Desmopressin (DDAVP) - short term use
3. Vasopressin ( Pitressin)
- given IM - effective if spec gravity is normal
- long term use ( lifetime treatment)
4. Monitor input and output, urine spec. Gravity, weigh daily

CONFIRMATORY TEST : Urine specific Gravity
