The event started with the singing of the national anthem and was followed by series of opening contents.

I was seated at the front row together with my camera man. They've given us a VIP spot. I was not aware of that. Siguro dahil sikat at lehitimo ang newspaper na hawak ko kaya kami nabigyan ng magandang spot para kuhanan ang event.

After the introductory events, the MC welcomed the Governor. Luke stepped infront with that smile in his face. Halatang gustong gusto siya ng mga tao dahil nakikinig talaga sila sa mga sinasabi niya. They clap everytime he says something very promising. And through out his finished months sitted in his position, he accomplished a lot of things. The roads that haven't been cemented previously were all done and well furnished. Rights of the citizens are empowered. Education of children and the youths have been better than before. Safety securities most specially during the night have been implemented. Ilang buwan lamang simula nung umupo siya sa posisyon ay marami na siyang nagawa.

I was busy listening to what he was saying while taking note of the important details when our met once again.

" Thank you to a very special woman who believed in me when I doubted myself" He was saying while looking at me. The citizens then reacted. Stop it bitch. He was pertaining to your sister and not you.

The crowd cheered and were looking at my sister who was sitted at the back of Luke together with some political associates.

I looked at my sister and smiled at her. Ngumiti naman ito pabalik sa akin. I wonder when will they get married. Matagal na rin simula nung engagement nila. It has been almost a year since they were engage, baka sa susunod ng buwan ay magpapakasal na rin ang dalawa.

Henry gazed at me. He's the cameraman, alam kong nakatutok kay Luke ang camera kaya alam niyang sa gawi ko ito nakatingin.

I did not make a big deal out of it. Mahirap maging assumera. Nakakamatay ang pagiging assumera.

His speech ended with the crowd's loud cheers and applauses.

We were about to pack up when a woman approached us.

" Excuse me ma'am, you are the writer from Expressions right?" Tanong sa akin nung babae. I nodded and answered a yes in reply.

" Ma'am we wish to invite you for lunch after at the grand hotel DeSilva." Sabi niya sa akin.

Ngumiti ako ng tipid.

" Ma'am nakakahiya naman." I answered but the woman spoke once more.

" Hindi ho talaga hong sinabihan ako ni governor na imbitahan lahat ng newsreporter na dadalo ngayon." Sagot naman niya. My forehead creased at what the woman said.

" Sige mag-aayos lang kami ng gamit" Magalang kong wika.
