~ Staring Contests ~

(Eddie's P.O.V)

PAX is too crazy. Me & Narrator have planned to go, and we did, but our ears got filled with nothing but blood curdling screams the moment we stepped in. And quite understandably, Narrator's decision was to go around the back of the building and up the hill, where a cherry blossom tree was just sitting there, all alone. As if it was calling out to him.

And actually, I've found that - just like Narrator - cherry blossoms have been my favourite flower as time had passed. I don't know what it is, but it's just better for me, knowing the best person in the world was related to them in some way.

The tree had a puddle of blossoms by the bottom, and Narrator loved it. He ran to it, sat in it, leaned back and beckoned me over.

"Hey Eddie, come on dawg, join me!"

"That's what I say! I'm sorry, Honey Bunches, but it is."

He think he can pull that card? I don't think so.

(Narrator's P.O.V)

Eddie smiles as he walks over and plops himself next to me. The cherry blossoms bringing out his eyes as they floated down to the ground around him. And it almost made my heart skip a beat. His smile was so cute, and every time he smiled at me like he just did, I would feel my face light up with a faint pink. But this time, it worked against me and made my face an indescribable reddish colour. And Eddie wasn't as easy to trick like Smashing or Juicy, so he noticed.

"Dawg, you've gone all red.. everything okay?"

I nod.

"Want to play a quick staring contest with me to get your mind off whatever's bugging you?"

I nod again, and the game begins. I was so ready to win. I've found if I get lost in someone's eyes as beautiful as Eddie's, my mind doesn't tell me to blink as much. But slowly, and gradually, I noticed something.

Was he getting closer? I bet he's just trying to distract me..

But sooner or later, Eddie gets close enough and grabs me by the shirt, where he slams me against the tree bark and kisses me long and deeply, his eyes shutting with some sort of pleasure. And when he parts away, he just smirks and speaks flirtatiously,

"Oops, looks like I blinked~"
