Flashback So here she was sitting opposite the guy who wanted to kill her friends and family. "Klaus" kassie said when she had sat down "Hello love" he replied "I think we need to talk, don't you"
"One bourbon for you" the waitress said setting the cup in front of klaus, eyeing him cautiously "and one banana milkshake for kassie, I added extra squirty cream, how you like it" kassie smiled wildly at the lady. "Thank you dani" she said, klaus watched on, a small smile on his own face. Kassie fished a note out of her pocket and gave it the women "it isn't much but, enjoy" "Thank you, so much, I'll see you later kassie" dani said, she looked over at klaus and gave him a fake smile "enjoy sir." "Bye dani"
"I don't think she like me very much" klaus joked, taking a sip of his drink "Not many people do" kassie muttered, finding her milkshake straw incredibly interesting. Klaus let out a small chuckle. "Your not wrong there" kassie sat forward meeting the vampire's eyes "people don't understand me and my ways" "Klaus, what are we doing here" she asked "what do you want with me because I can assure if you're trying to find out my family's plan your looking in the wrong place. I don't know anything"
"That's not why I'm here love" klaus admitted "you and my sister, Rebekah, your friends right" kassie tensed, she knew exactly what was coming. "Yes" "She's missing, and I'm worried" "And you think I know something" kassie shook her head and leaned back in her chair "Well do you?" "Maybe"
Klaus slammed a hand on the table making kassie jump, her breath got quicker as her eyes widened in fear. "I suggest you do not test me, little witch" he growled "she is my family and as much as I won't hurt you, nothing will stop me from tearing out your dear brothers throat" "You didn't care much about family when you turned my aunt, eventually leading to her death" kassie snapped, klaus' face softened, slightly. "Your aunt was a terrible coincidence, I didn't know she was your relative until it was too late" he looked to her with pleading eyes "even if you don't do this for me, do it for her. please. before it's too late"
Kassie thought for a moment, then sighed. "Look I don't know where she is, but I do know who has her. However first you have to promise me something" kassie said "none of my family, or my friends die. None. Got it" "i don't think you are really in a position to make demands right now" klaus jeered, kassie bucked an eyebrow and sniggered holding out her hand causing klaus to hold his head in pain.
"Really?" She asked "because from my view it looks like I'm in a perfect position" she stopped the headache and klaus smiled at her. "I like you" klaus pointed at her "now, tell me, who has her" kassie looked around here asking sure nobody was listening or was watching. "Damon" she said, guilt swelling in her chest "Damon Salvatore"
"I'm home" kassie called "Kassie, we're in the kitchen" Alaric called. When she walked in she immediately saw elena leaning on the counter, still not happy with her sister, kassie opted to avoid her for as long as possible. "You haven't seen Jeremy have you" "Not since Friday, at school" kassie answered, that was two days ago, kassie promised herself she try and spend more time with her brother. The front door opened and . "Speak of the devil" kassie muttered "Just in time" elena said "we're cooking"
