A little heads up I know that some things I write about weren't around when the show originally aired, I do realise that so just pretend that it was. -lu

Kassie didn't sleep that night. Maybe it was the lying. Maybe it was the fear of death. Or maybe it was the lack of a curtain British vampire in her dreams. She didn't know. All she knew was she was tired. When she finally ventured down stairs she found both Damon and Stefan in the kitchen with her sister. kassie sluggishly made a beeline to the coffee maker and filled her mug, Damon opened his mouth to speak but kassie held up her finger.
"I don't want to hear it" she snapped, taking a gulp of coffee and walking back out into the living room. Just as she sat on the couch her phone beeped, it was Rebekah.

Yh, okay, I'll be ready

After looking longingly at her mug, Kassie walked back into the kitchen, passing Damon, Stefan and Elena who all stopped their conversation to stare at her. Kassie ignored them and poured her coffee into a travel mug and strolled out and up the stairs to her room, not saying anything. As soon as she was ready, kassie immediately went out the door and sat on the porch, still ignoring everyone in her house. Seconds later a black bmw pulled up and rolled down the window. Kassie smirked and stood up shaking her head at Rebekah who was smiling brightly through the open window.

"I like the new car" Kassie said getting into the passenger seat "it's very you"
"Thank you" Rebekah chuckled "why do you look like you got no sleep?"
"Because I didn't" Kassie shrugged "it's crazy how much different sleep is without magical dreams. I mean don't get me wrong, I love having kol alive again but it's seriously weird to sleep without dreams." Rebekah smiled and shook her head slightly "what" kassie asked.
"Nothing" the blonde answered innocently.

"Let's put some music on" Rebekah suggested, she reached forward and grabbed her phone, scrolling through her music until she found the playlist she was looking for, Hamilton. Kassie's head snapped up and they both started blurting out the lyrics. This carried on all the way to the mikaelson's house, they got half way through the soundtrack and the lack of music didn't stop them from singing all the way to the door.

"I met Alexander once" Rebekah dropped casually. Kassie stopped dead and looked at her friend as if she had grown another nose.
"You what..." Kassie stuttered "you met...why am I only hearing about this now?"
"Never thought it was important"
"Important" Kassie shouted "this is life changing" she mumbled "What was he like" Rebekah placed a finger on her chin and thought for a second.
"Not all that he's made out to be" she said walking into the house, Kassie chuckled and followed her friend.
