You answered the call. "Hello?" You said reluctantly. Your friend started quietly laughing. You hit her. "hey, y/n right?" "Yeah and you're kai right? Did I say your name right?" You put yourself on mute and friend started bursting out in laughter. "Shut up." "Yeah," kai said. Your friend quickly stopped laughing and you unmuted yourself. "Okay just making sure. So why did you call me?" You asked in a curious tone. "I just wanted to talk and get know each other better. Sorry I probably shouldn't have called. Are you busy right now?" "Uhhhh sort of. I'm hanging out with someone right now." "Okay I can go. Just text me when your free." "Okay i'll text you." "Okay bye." "Bye," you hung up. "That was the most awkward conversation I think i've ever had with a boy. You and your friend look at each other and start bursting out laughing. You guys finally stopped laughing. "I can't believe he actually called me though. Like I thought he would ghost me before he would do that." "You know not all boys are like that and just because youve had some bad experiences, doesn't mean he's going to do that to you." "Yeah I guess your right." You lean over to her and give her a hug. "Okay im tired of standing," she says while plopping down on your bed. You laugh and get on your bed beside her. You continue to text kai every now and then while you and your friend are talking about anything and everything. You get a text back from kai and look at it.
