Scarlet stood with Lux and the rest of the crew. The first contest was the best bounty poster contest and Scarlet won once again with Trish being a close second. After that it was a new contest being introduced. It was a scar contest. You could win by either possessing the most out of the participants or by have the most brutal of scars. When Kin stepped on to the platform, the Shadow Pirates became tense, except Lance. He was the only to have seen just how many scars Kin possessed from his time with Captain Leary.

"Did the little kid get a scratch and want to show it off," one of the contestants teased, causing many to laugh. Kin rolled his eyes but waited for the other contestants to show their scars. Many had been from life threatening wounds, and their time while imprisoned by the Marines. Then Kin removed his shirt and the whole island became deathly quiet. "Oh my god," Tanya whispered. Lance had been the only one in the crew to have seen his scars before, Kin never choosing to be seen without a shirt.

His torso and back were covered in scars. Some small and light, while others were thick and viscous. His scars were layered on top of one another, not a single inch of skin not covered in a scar. "What happened to you," the man who teased Kin said, not able to take his eyes from Kin's scars. Kin simply shrugged, "I got a scratch and wanted to show it off." Kin easily won the contest and took his winnings. He went over to his crew while putting his shirt back on. Sunny hugged him tightly. "Can't...breathe," Kin choked out. She let him go, "You're so brave and amazing." He shrugged, "It was nothing." Since he wanted to play it off like it was no big deal, they left it alone.

The next contest was a contest for explosive experts. It was held in a large field. The goal was to make the largest explosion with the least amount of things. Brian stood there, slack jawed when Tanya appeared on screen. She had a pair of goggles on, and a black steam punk themed outfit. When the timer started, she set about getting the few things she needed and didn't waste a single second they had. She was quick, her hands expertly moving about, not missing a single beat. She finished a few seconds before the timer went off. Then one by one the explosions went off. Hers was then ignited and it created a massive crater where it had been. She smiled proudly as she was given her winnings and began to make her way back to her crew.

She gave her brother a smirk, "Don't be so stunned dear brother." Lux chuckled, "That was rather interesting. Good work girlie." Then it was time for the poisons contest. Lance was more than ready. He brought a rather cup, and when it was his turn. He began to pour all of the poisons into it. He then drank from it, horrifying many around them. The Shadow Pirates laughed. "That's one way to win," Dio commented with a shake of his head. Lance approached them with a small smile. Next it was the hand to hand combat. Muris, Igiel, and Trish all went to compete. Trish only signed up because Captain Von Crowse from Acid Corals had signed up. He had been the Acid Coral's first mate when their previous Captain had killed her father. Von killed their old Captain and took over, but Trish blamed him just as much because he had laughed and kicked dirt on her and her father as she cried over him as he bled out.

Igiel and Muris eyed her, neither thinking she was up for this fight, but they didn't say anything. She would play it smart until she went against him. Her father's bounty poster weighed heavy in her pocket. She looked at the tournament roster and saw that if she and he won their first fights, they'd be going against each other for their second round. After that, she didn't care to continue the tournament. Igiel and Muris can go for that victory.

"I'm really worried about Trish," Scarlet whispered to Lux. "You should be," Black Smoke said as he watched the screen. "She's taking a shot at revenge." "Revenge for what," Scarlet asked him shocked. "Her father," Black Smoke answered. "Captain Britman of the Sea Kings had been a close friend of mine. Until the late Captain Drewal ended his life. It had been his first mate, Von, who had killed Captain Drewal and took over the crew. Before he took over though, Captain Drewal killed Captain Britman on Curry Island, where he was trying to keep him from taking the only doctor on the island. He killed the good Captain in front of his daughter." "And if they both win their first fights, she'll have her chance for revenge," Lux said as he eyed the roster. "You don't think she'll kill him out of cold blood do you," Pince asked Lux. Lux shrugged, "I don't know."

They watched as she easily won her first fight, giving her opponent the shock of a life time. Captain Von easily won his fight as well. Igiel and Muris had also won their respected fights. Soon it was time for her to go against Captain Von of the Acid Corals. "Tell me girlie, why is it that you look so familiar," he asked her. She pulled out her father's bounty poster, "You remember him?" His eyes looked over the poster, and he burst into laughter. "Did you come to get revenge for that pathetic waste of space," he asked as he laughed. Sparks to ignite around her fingers as she put the poster away. "Give me your best shot," Von said with a smirk.

The two launched themselves at each other. Trish was charging up her electricity, waiting to unleash it. She wanted to be close when she did. She was fast, much faster than Von thought. She was quick and precise as she fought him. He only managed to land two hits, while she has gotten in a series of blows. The clouds began to darken, lightning filling the sky. The Shadow Pirates looked up at the sky. The ring they were fighting in began to spark, as she continued to gather her electricity. "She's really going to do it," Lance whispered. "We will protect her if they come for her," Lux declared to his crew.

Lightning struck the ring, right beside Von and he looked at the spot, wide eyed. "What's wrong Captain Von," Trish asked him. Another strike hit the ring and he jumped. "This is your doing," he asked her, stunned. "I should've fried you that day you laughed as my father bled out after Captain Drewal shot him," she told him. "I never thought I would get this chance, so I find this moment incredibly sweet."

Lightning continued to come down around Von, until he became incredibly terrified, and he dropped to his knees. "I'm sorry," he whispered, piss staining the front of his pants. She burst into laughter, "I'm sure you are." Lightning struck directly in front of him, singeing some of his hair. He yelp out in fear, falling on to his ass. He was pale with fear. Three bolts then struck around him. He then tapped out, shaking. Trish smirked and released her hold on her lightning. The clouds instantly cleared up. She then walked out of the ring, hands in her pockets.

"You okay," Igiel asked her. She smiled, "I feel great actually." She never wanted to kill him. His death would one day be forgotten, but every one will remember the day he pissed himself in front of every pirate in the world. That was the best revenge of them all.
