Joenghan's mom is very angelic no wonder he has this somewhat angelic look. She's very pale too like him. She's pretty, in short. But his dad looks dead serious and he got his cheekbones from him.
"Yes, ma, pa," I confidently told even though I really felt awkward inside. I think I'm slowly changing into a really shy girl. I gave them my gifts and we were guided inside the house. They even scolded me for bothering. I was amazed by how neat their house is and it looks more extravagant inside. There were few maids seen who roam around, not a lot for the type of family they have.
"Feel at home, okay?" His mom looked at me dearly and even held my hands. "Jeonghan bring her to your room. We've cleaned and readied it for both of you. We will just prepare the lunch," her mom told.
"Or if you get bored hija go to the field," his dad then told me and I nodded and smiled. "Son, tour her around the farm or around the house," his dad mandated.
"Yes father," he agreed.
I asked if I can help but I was refused because I was a visitor. I insisted but I got scolded instead. So, Jeonghan and I went upstairs to his room, we actually didn't talk much. Because he's been clingy with me infront of his parents. He told me that he will just rest for a moment and I agreed. He did immediately rest and fell asleep immediately. I don't wanna bother him so I went out the room and roam around alone.
While I was walking, I saw the balcony door open so I decided to check on it then I saw a young lady who looks busy and worried. "Hi!" I greeted and smiled. She looked at me in amuse.
"Yanika unnie?" I was astounded because she knew my name as I approached her. She seems shy but friendly.
"Hello! Yes, I'm Yanika. You must be Jeonghan's little sister," I talked to her nicely.
"Yes unnie. I am," she cheered. I was fascinated how timid yet excited she is talking to me.
I asked her what she was doing but obviously, she's doing some homework. Then offered her help which she gladly accepted because she was studying English and the other one was about business. I helped her in glee and we finished everything in no time.
She's very talkative after we got used to each other. She asked lots of things too and good for her because it's a sign that a person wants to learn. She didn't really asked who am I and I assumed she already knew me and my role in their family.
"Thanks, unnie. You're so amazing," she told me.
"Always dear," I replied. "College is absolutely hard but never give up," I advised her.
"Thank you so much for the help unnie. In return, I will tour you around the place since I know that Jeonghan oppa is probably sleeping now. Let's go!" she pulled from my seat and we went downstairs. I already gave my gift to her while she was answering her homework and even took a glance at the sleeping angel in the room.
We went to their backyard which has an access to a large green house full of strawberries and to the land fields full of different types of plants and flowers. I was amused by the view, it's beautiful and refreshing to the eyes.
We went to picked strawberries. Great timing because I was just wearing pants and a large shirt and I also took off my shoes earlier so I am in slippers. The funny thing there is I look like that meeting Jeonghan's parents but they have never look down on me nor judge me. I didn't have time to prepare because you know we even bicker about it on the way here. And it's better to show the real me rather than showing them someone who's not me.
We also went to the rice fields and the vegetable farms We picked some of the flowers and brought it back to the house. We were now on our way and it's almost lunch time.
