Misty's POV,

I opened my eyes. I saw a nurse folding the bedsheets. I was trying sit straight.

Nurse:''You shouldn't force yourself, you're hurt!''

I lied down again in the bed.

Nurse:''There is a student outside the office for a long time, Let me call.

It must be Dawn, I must smile or she will be worried.

Misty:'' Hey!''

Ash:'' He...y?''

Misty:'' You?''

Ash:'' Yep me.''

Misty:'' What brings you here Ash?''

Ash:'' I'm really thankful for what you did. I cannot thank you enough.''

I looked straight at him, he made those soft eyes, And I knew he was not lying I smiled softly.

Ash:'' I owe you Misty! And I am really sorry for whatever I said to you.''

Misty:'' There are things which can be forgiven and some which I cannot. In your case, because it is you, I'll forgive you Ash. But I have a question!!''

He holded my hand.

Ash:'' What is it?!''

Misty:'' Do you remember-''

Serena:'' There you are! I was so worried about you Ash! I didn't see the whole day, Baby I am so sorry for the accident.''

Serena stopped in her tracks as she saw Ash holding my hand. I swiftly removed my hand. And looked outside the window. Serena came and hugged Ash, he hugged her back, his eyes still on me.

Serena:'' I can explain''

Ash:'' Its okay Serena! I know you didn't do it intentionally!''

Ash cupped her cheeks. And pecked on her forehead. My heart ached but I kept silent. Maybe Ash being with Serena was for the best. As long as Ash is happy with her, I didn't mind it. They both holded each others hands.

Serena:'' I apologize for your condition Misty. Hope you will get well before the contest.''

They were leaving when Ash looked back.

Ash:'' You were going to ask something to me right?!''

Misty:'' Never mind. Maybe next time.''

I smiled and Ash and he smiled back. After they left I threw my head back on the pillow. Uh! Did I just let that happen?!

After few Days,

I was all well and ready to go back to school. God I have missed so many classes, that will surely effect my academics! I was talking to May and Drew when I felt a hand around my neck and a scent of an unfamiliar perfume. I looked at the side and saw a face closed to mine, it was ASH!

Misty:'' Why....ae...why are standing so close?!''

Ash:''Why? Aren't friends allowed to stand next to each other?''

His face was dangerously close! I gulped and just maybe my cheeks were pink. May noticed my embaressment and pulled my hand.

May:'' I wonder what made you so close to her?''

Ash:'' You don't need to know. Right?''

He winked at me. Uh! Is this guy flirting with me? Damn him! Professor clapped her hands and we seated on our seats.

After the classes,

Dawn:'' You coming with us to buy the dress?''

Misty:'' Sure! Afterall I am participating in the competition!''

We went to different stores, Dawn and May brought me hella rich stores. It was more costly then I thought. Dawn said she will pay for the money........but...

Dawn:'' NO BUTS! JUST GO AHEAD AND BUY A DRESS FOR YOUSELF!''

I was suddenly in a pressure. Then my eyes spotted Ash buying cloths for Serena. Serena was talking to the staff, when Ash and my eyes met. He caught me staring and him. I immediately broke our eye contact and went back to buying the clothes. My mind was still on them. So, I stole a bit glance towards them, and surprisingly Ash looked at my side gave me a warm smile and left the store. My heart was beating so fast. That I couldn't explain.

???:''You're Misty right?''

I turned around to see a guy around my age I nodded.

Red:'' I'm Red. I saw your match earlier. And I was impressed by your skills.

Misty:'' To be honest I won't call that I skill It was a coincidence!''

Red chuckled. And invited me to have tea. I refused at first and then agreed. I texted Daw that I will be gone, so they can return to dorm without me.

Red pulled the chair for me, an I thanked him.

Red:'' What would you like to have?''

Misty:'' I'll go with chocolate smoothie.''

Red ordered and leaned forward.

Red:'' So, what is your speaciality?''

Misty:'' I specialize in water pokemon!''

Red:'' Oh...I see.''

We talked about a lot of things and time quickly passed by. I waved him goodbye and entered my dorm, I saw May and Dawn have a serious expression on their faces. They ran up to me and..

Dawn and May:'' HOW WAS THE DATE?!'''

Misty:''What the hell?''

Dawn:'' Don't hide it from us! We saw you sitting in the shop with a guy.''

Misty:'' Oh that's Red. He invited-''

May:'' RED?''

Dawn:''You mean...''

May:'' Its him dawn!''

I tilted my head not knowing what they were saying.

May:'' He is the best trainer in our high school! He is handsome, good in battles! He is perfect! and a guy like him approached you mIsty! He likes you! He must!''

Misty:' Me?''

Dawn:'' I am so envious! Omg!''

May: I feel sorry for yellow though. She has the biggest crush on him.''

Dawn nodded.

Misty:'' You guys are thinking too much. First Neither of us like each other. Second, I won't still someone if somebody already likes him. and third. STOP UP YOUR NONSENSE TALKES OK? And let me breathe.''
