Walking through the city, Xiu Ying felt that it had changed a lot since she had last seen it. Feng Yu just followed along quietly. After a while of walking, they were out of the city in a remote area. The longer they walked, the quieter it got.

Xiu Ying and Feng Yu reached a cherry tree by the flowing river. Next to the cherry tree was a tombstone with a name carved on it. Huang Jian Yu. Feng Yu was surprised.

"This tomb, it couldn't be..."

"You guessed correctly. It's the second prince

Huang Jian Yu. He and I used to be playmates. When the incident five years ago happened, I searched for information about him. I later found out that he had fallen into the river and drowned. The villagers in Lotus City found him. I came to this town and gave him a proper burial."

"Thank you."

"There's no need to thank me. I did what a friend would do..."

Xiu Ying got on her knees and bow. Tears flow out of her eyes. "Did you miss me? I'm sorry, I didn't come to visit you. I have no excuses. I also hope that you won't forgive me. I'm sorry for leaving you. I'm sorry I didn't stay with you."

Feng Yu felt his heartache. It was more painful than earlier. His head then starts to hurt. Some blurred images of someone's face flash before his eyes. "Uugghhhhh"

Xiu Ying got up and looked at Feng Yu, who was groaning in pain.

"What's wrong? Did your wound opened up again?"

"My head....my head hurts!"

"Your head? How can your head be hurting?"

"I... I don't kno...."

Before Feng Yu could finish his sentence, he had fainted on Xiu Ying. "Hey! Hey! You can't just faint on me like this."

'This guy... you're a full-grown man but can't even handle and headache? Ugh, why are you so heavy?' Xiu Ying tried to keep Feng Yu up. She then holds Feng Yu by the waist with her right arm and have him lean his head on her shoulder.

When Xiu Ying was about to leave, she heard the sound of horse hooves heading towards her. It was Mo Fan, Cheng-Ming, Jin Hai and Luo Li.

Jin Hai and Luo Li got down from their horses and ran towards Xiu Ying. They got on to their knees and begged for forgiveness together. "Miss! We apologize for putting you in danger. Please punish us."

Xiu Ying is so tired of them asking her to punish them. "There's no need. I'm fine and safe."

Getting no punishment from Xiu Ying made Jin Hai and Luo Li feel even more guiltily for letting her disappear with a rebel. She waved for them to stand up. Seeing Mo Fan here, Xiu Ying got the gist of what happened when she was gone. Mo Fan saw that a man was leaning on Xiu Ying and became gloomy.

"Why are you here?"

"Father asked me to come search for you. Last night you disappeared without any word, even more than that you were with a rebel."

"I'm fine. I can protect myself."

"I know, but I just can't help but worry."

Xiu Ying ignored him and looked to Cheng-Ming. He bowed to show his respect and introduce himself. "Nice to finally meet you, princess Xiu Ying. My name is Cheng-Ming, and I'm Mo Fan's friend."

Xiu Ying gave him a nod but said nothing. Mo Fan, Cheng-Ming, Jin Hai, and Luo Li gave Xiu Ying a weird look. She then realized that they were looking at Feng Yu, who was still leaning on her. 'Ugh, how can I forget about you.'

"This is a new friend I made. His name is Feng Yu. Earlier, he had a headache and fainted," explained Xiu Ying as she points at his sleeping face.

She then turned towards Jin Hai and Luo Li and ordered, "You two, come help me with him."

"Yes, master," they both replied as they took Feng Yu from her.

Xiu Ying let Jin Hai carried Feng Yu because Luo Li wouldn't be able to withstand his weight. She quickly whispers to them as they got close to her. "Keep quiet."

Jin Hai and Luo Li gave Xiu Ying a little nod to let her know that they got her message. Xiu Ying was sure that they both realize that Feng Yu and the rebel from last night were the same person.

After letting Jin Hai carried Feng Yu, Xiu Ying turned back to the tombstone and took another bow. "I will be leaving now. I promise I will come back to visit you."

Mo Fan felt jealous of Jian Yu. He had been the only person who'd gotten into Xiu Ying's heart. Xiu Ying may think that what she feels for Jian Yu is as a friend and guilt that her father killed his family, but Mo Fan can see that it was because she loved him. Mo Fan puts so much effort into making Xiu Ying like him, but all she does is push him away.
