Lia woke up earlier than she usually does for the past days. Since the start of her winter break, she has been pretty much waking up late, and hibernating the whole of her entire winter break. It's not like she has anything to do anyways, plus most of all she's been pretty down lately ever since the news of her girlfriend's near death experience.
So she just lay low in her bed. If not on her bed, she'd be curled up on the sofa binge watching whatever her mind tells her to watch.
But now she woke up early as usual, not because her body followed her conscience and just jolted up, but because she felt emptiness beside her.
Finally having the urge to wake up. She then opened her eyes and almost immediately noticed that the cat eyed girl that was once right beside her when they slept, was nowhere to be found. That's not really new for her since she knows Yeji wakes up early, so she just shrugged it off.
As basic human nature. Lia then sat up, rubbing her eyes as she yawned and stretched her limbs out. She then slowly stood up from the warm, comfy, cushion of her bed, and walked out her room towards the living room, lazily.
It took her quiet some time to get to where she wanted to go. But as soon as Lia made it into the living room. She was met with Soobin, who surprisingly is there without her knowing, along with Chaeryeong, Ryujin and Yuna.
Completely bamboozled and confused. She slowly dragged her way over to the front of Soobin, who let out a weak smile.
"What's the occasion guys?" Lia asked, obviously confused as to why they are gathered in an odd and suspicious way.
Not to mention, the Hwang siblings aren't present. Which makes it more odd."Okay Lia, so uhmm..." Soobin paused as he adjusted his position on the sofa. "There's no occasion, but there one thing I'm gonna say so don't freak out."
Lia furrowed her eyebrows. It's too early for her to get something that would make her freak out. "Ooookay, so what's that thing?"
Soobin then looked at Chaeryeong, seemingly asking for help on this situation, but she just ignored the S.O.S of the poor guy in front of him.
"Sooo, uh... Yeji is in the hospital now," he said, as he immediately looked away from Lia.
Soobin expected like a freak out. Like Lia screaming and probably burst into tears and asking to take her there right now.
But surprisingly the smaller girl was just chill about it. She wasn't freaking out or anything, not pouring any water falls. She isn't over dramatically trying to get herself to the hospital.
She's just. Chill.
"I know. She told me that yesterday," Lia then took a nearby chair and pulled it towards her, then sitting down on it. "Is there any problem with that?"
Ryujin whose just looking on, then coughed trying to gain the attention of everyone in the room. Which she successfully did. "Eonnie, actually the reason why she's there so early was because... She, uhmm... Had another heart attack."
Just like that, with the mere mention of those two words. The cool, calm and composed Lia soon turned into an alarmed and nervous one.
"What, she did? How? We were sleeping right beside each other though, I could've known if she had one," Lia then stood up and looked at everyone asking for clarification. "Tell me all of you are lying, tell me!"
"Calm down Lia."
"Calm down? I am calm! What do you mean?"
"Is screaming frantically, calm to you?" Soobin queried.
