When Barry sees his older siblings enter the dining room, he starts yelling angry gibberish to them.
"I'm sorry Barry but we couldn't take you, you would have gotten hurt," Rebecca explains apologetically.
Alain raises an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Tim wanted to play finances and we all know what happens when Jacob gets broke." Rebecca explains "He usually targets people smaller than him." Rebecca adds in a lowered voice.
"Hey!" Jacob says angrily "I'm not the one who decided to jump people and steal their money."
"Oh, but it's okay to punch people in the stomach, steal their money when they're on the ground, and bolt." Rebecca retaliates
"I like playing finances," Tim tells Alain
"It's not even real money Becca it's just Monopoly money!" Jacob shouts defending himself
"Then..." Rebecca splutters "Why do you want it so badly."
"Mabey you should hold off on playing finances, Tim," Alain suggests
"I want to win okay," Jacob says defending himself
Barry suddenly throws his bowl of mashed food smashing his bowel on the ground. Rebecca and Jacob stop bickering, and everyone looks over at him.
"ME!" Barry screams pointing at himself
"Not everything's about you brat wh- "Jacob starts
"ME!" Barry interrupts pointing towards himself.
"NO YOU ME; NO YOU ME;" he shrills
"Aww Barry wants us!" Rebecca gushes
She lifts the toddler up and spins him around in her arms he babbles happily.
"Becca, we have to go upstairs," Tim says worriedly
"Way to be jealous Tim," Jacob says smirking
"But we do it's 8:20 and Derik gets here around 8:40," Tim explains
"How do you even know that? "Jacob questions
"Well it depends on what time he gets out of work, if he gets out earlier there's more traffic and- "Tim begins
"Okay, okay whatever we don't need to know let's just go upstairs." Jacob interrupts
The three kids run upstairs with Rebecca holding Barry and they get to the hallway where all their rooms are.
"Me sweep with Becca!" Barry chirps
"Yea Barry you're sleeping with me tonight." Rebecca agrees
"Can I sleep with you too Becca," Tim asks with a hopeful expression
"Nwo" Barry says
"Of course, you can, Tim." Rebecca beams
Jacob's already walking to his room when he hears his sister's answer.
"And you know what will make it even better..." Rebecca begins
Jacob ducks his head and he sprints towards his room.
"If Jacob comes too." Rebecca finishes she catches up to Jacob and she drags her brother over.
"What no Becca! Oh, come on this is a cruel and unusual punishment. I didn't do anything!" Jacob beseeches he slumps over when Rebecca continues to drag him.
"It'll be fun Jacob plus we can research on different types of abuses and what kind of abuse the girl's going through," Rebecca whispers in a cajoling voice.
When Rebecca brings Jacob over to where Barry and Tim are, Barry's screaming and kicking on the floor and Tim's backed away.
"NWO JAYCOB NWO TIMM ONLY MEE!" Barry screams
"I swear he only knows our names to do this." Jacob clips
Nobody says anything about Jacob's comment.
"Why does he hate me? Not even my real brother likes me." Tim murmurs with a sniffle.
"He doesn't hate you, Tim." Rebecca says after hearing Tim "Now let's go inside and let him cool off he'll come don't worry."
"Oh, I'm not worried" Jacob mutters
"Nobody asked you, Jacob." Rebecca retaliates in an annoyed voice.
Rebecca opens her room door and enters Jacob and Tim follow her in. When they're all inside Rebecca closes the door Tim and Jacob both look at her with questioning glances.
"I closed the door, so Barry thinks we're going to bed without him and he comes," Rebecca explains
"Okay so are you guys ready to sleep?" Rebecca asks exultantly
"Hey you said- "Jacob starts
"We'll research in the morning."
"I'm leaving then," Jacob says heading towards the room's door
Rebecca blocks the door "Oh come on Jacob we can research in the morning! It's not like we're meeting the girl in the morning, Derik's home plus he's not leaving this week he's leaving next Friday remember, it's only Saturday and Derik's going to check on us for sure so if he sees us using a laptop we'll get even more punished."
"Fine, but I get personal space."
Rebecca nods enthusiastically in agreement.
"My own personal space Becca, not what you think is personal space. Your idea of personal space is... well, let's just say it's the reason the last time I slept over in your room was last year. I mean come on we all have king beds for a reason you know."
"My idea of personal space isn't that bad," Rebecca says defending herself
"Your idea of personal space is non-existent."
"That's not true."
"Yes, you do Becca I literally had bruises last time because of your invasion of personal space because of how many times you kicked me."
"I do not take up any of your personal space, right Tim?"
"Um..." Tim says nervously
"See even Tim thinks so," Jacob claims
"That's not true he didn't disagree with me." Rebecca protests
"That's because Tim's too nice to disagree with you."
"Fine, you can have your own proper personal space."
"Good, I'll take the whole bed."
"Jacob!"
"I'll take my whole bed then."
"Jacob we've been through this."
"Fine, fine I'll stay with you guys but I'm going to get my own space, or I swear I'll kick you guys off the bed and cut all of your hair out."
"Becca what if I end up in Jacob's personal space, I like my hair," Tim whispers
"It's fine Tim he won't really do it." Rebecca reassures "Right Jacob."
"I make no promises." Jacob quips
"Becca, can you read me a bedtime story?" Tim asks, yawning
"Sure, how about Lord of the Flies"
The kids hear a small whimper at the door "Me wisen too?" Barry asks
"Yes, Barry you can listen to the story as well." Rebecca smiles opening the large door.
