"So, do you guys have any questions you'd like to ask?" the officer inquires as he walks with the Rebecca, Jacob, and Tim to his car.

"Yea, I have a question do you know the meaning of the word brownnose," Jacob asks with his arms crossed and a smug expression.

The officer ignores the question and he continues to lead them towards his car.

"I know what it means Jacob," Tim says

Rebecca stifles her laughter and Tim looks over at her with a confused expression. 'Why does Becca think it's funny Jacob asked an important question.'

"I didn't ask you, Tim, I asked the cop," Jacob says using his thumb to point towards the officer for emphasis.

"What's your address?" the officers asks after entering his car.

The ride to the house is full of discussion about the case.

"You three want to stay informed of the case, correct?" the officer asks

"Yes, that's right," Rebecca replies

"In that case, can you please provide me with a number that my fellow officers and I can contact you with?"

"Can I give you the number for our home phone?"

The officer nods his head.

Officer John stops his car at the front get of the house he informs them they found a woman who claimed she lived in the house the officers are taking her to the police station to get interrogated.

When Derik sees the police car in front of his house gate he races out of his house. He stops running when he reaches the gate and his kids get out the police car drives away before he can ask the officer inside of it any questions. So, he turns over to his kids.

"What were you all thinking I told you not to go to the slums and you disobeyed me and to make matters worse you break into someone's property and you find something you should never have had to witness!" Derik fumes "To make matters worse you called me and told me to meet you at the house two hours ago."

"We've seen that so many times before it's not a big deal." Jacob snaps back flatly.

"What do you mean it's no big deal, just because you've seen something numerous times before it doesn't mean it's not a big deal, besides Tim has never seen murder before," Derik emphasizes as calmly as he can.

"We didn't know it was private property," Rebecca says quietly

"Of course, the house was private property even if it wasn't owned by someone the government would be the owner." Derik fumes

"Well, the first time we went..." Rebecca begins

"Hold on, that wasn't your first time going to the house?" Derik questions

"We wanted to see our old house and it's not like you took us there anyway," Jacob says justifying his actions with a bit of anger in his voice.

"I'm sorry I didn't take you when you asked but it just isn't safe it's very dangerous there and you and your sister both know that," Derik replies sympathetically

"I'm so sorry dad I shouldn't have gone there without your permission I'm sure Becca and Jacob are sorry too!" Tim bursts

"I wouldn't be too sure about that Tim," Jacob mutters
