Secret

Chapter 14

I'm sorry for the late update this is the last chapter of Secret! I plan to make it a three story book Secret, the prequel, and the sequel! Please read and review!

A few days pass and Derik goes back to New Jersey after he reschedules the meeting he previously had to leave.

Tim enters Rebecca's room a day after his dad leaves after noticing that Jacob and Rebecca had both mysteriously disappeared at the same time. When he enters, he sees Jacob leaving through the window and Rebecca climbing down to the floor of the house.

"Are we going back to the house again?" Tim inquires

"Well Tim do you want to go back to the house one last time" Jacob snaps, clearly upset that Tim had even found them leaving the house in the first place.

Tim nods nervously.

"Well, then climb on Tim." Rebecca cheers

Rebecca climbs back up to her window and she lowers herself so Tim can climb on her back

"You ready?" she chirps

Tim gives a small nod and Rebecca begins her climb down to the ground. Jacob looks at Tim tersely from the window as Rebecca climbs to the bottom of the house before climbing down himself.

The three of them arrive at the house and they just stare at it they're all unsure about what to do or say. The house looked even more damaged than it did when the three of them had seen it last seen it because the officers had after the officers had searched through it and now there's caution tape around it.

The kids turn around when they see a woman approaching them with a gun and leather gloves on her hands. "So, you're the kids you decided to get nosy and break into my house." The woman growls

"How do you know it's us?" Jacob challenges

"Oh, please like I wouldn't know it was you three it was all over the news." The woman rebukes

"So, you're the one who murdered her why were you staying in this house anyway?" Rebecca demands

"What if I were to say that I own this property." The lady hisses

"So, you're from Germany and you illegally came here and now you're staying here and you probably even murder people" Tim concludes aloud

Rebecca glances over at Tim and she glares back at the woman "How many people have you killed!?" Rebecca shouts

"Excuse me?"

"Are you really this deaf." Jacob taunts "She asked how many people you killed?"

"I know what she said." The woman seethes

"And the answer to that is I don't know you lose count of how many times you've killed after doing it a couple dozen times." The woman says with a smile reaching her lips and no sympathy in her voice

"Why aren't you killing us then." Tim suddenly asks with nervousness in his voice "I mean you could have done it you do have a weapon in your hands, leather gloves to hide the fact that you've ever even touched it and you've killed a lot before so you can easily shoot us now."

"Huh, I honestly thought he was just the quiet one I mean I'm not really surprised the shy ones are usually the smart ones and the talkative ones, well I never really figured out if they have a limitation to the amount of stupidity they show." The woman says smirking as she looks over at the older two.

"As for your question." The woman says referring to Tim "Well there's a reason why I don't..."

She aims the gun at Tim's head and Rebecca and Jacob move in front of Tim defensively.

"Aww, how sweet your willing to take the shot for your brother." The woman clips sarcastically as she pulls the trigger of the gun at an already crumbling building.

"Think," she says blandly "Don't you think people will get suspicious of me if some of the richest kids in the country were killed in the same area as the girl who they had found dead and they had called the police on if I was found living in the house. They may even do a DNA test on me and figure out where I'm from and who I am.

"I may be a murderer, but I will never pay for my crimes," the woman says

She disappears into an alley the kids hadn't bothered to notice before with no trace of her ever being there in the first place.
