AFTER THE INCIDENT IN the forest, hagrid let the five of them know detention was over. hermione, ron, harry, and harlow were walking back to the castle, cedric trailing not too far behind.
"lo," cedric said, harlow stopped walking and turned to face him.
"meet us back in the gryffindor common room when you're done." hermione instructed her.
"sure,"
the three gryffindors left, leaving harlow and cedric alone outside of the castle.
"what happened back there?" he asked.
"i'm don't particularly know," she said, looking down for a moment then back at cedric. "i think he's back."
"he?" cedric asked, "whose he?"
"voldemort." harlow muttered, avoiding eye contact once again.
"what?" cedric exclaimed, "you saw him?"
"i don't know," harlow ran her fingers threw her hair, "i saw something."
"the figure." cedric realized, "you're saying that we all saw him?"
"i really am not sure what i saw, but i know what i felt." the potter girl told, her hand moving to the scar on her neck. "it makes sense doesn't it? the scar hurt when i was near the man that gave it to me."
"i suppose," cedric said. "but that's a big accusation to make, that he's back."
"i know it is, that's why you're not going to tell anyone about it." she asserted.
"lo, we have to tell someone,"
"we can't, who would believe us?" the slytherin girl inquired.
"i don't know, dumbledore maybe?" cedric suggested.
harlow shook her head, "no, we mustn't tell anyone diggory, you understand?"
"ok, fine." he agreed hesitantly.
"thank you," harlow offered him a warm smile.
he gave an uncertain smile back, harlow turned to start walking back to the castle.
"lo." he called out.
harlow turned back to face him once more, "yeah?"
"if something else happens, we have to tell dumbledore."
"fine," she agreed, "goodnight diggory."
"goodnight potter."

after her brief conversation with cedric, harlow left to go meet up with hermione, ron, and harry in the gryffindor common room. upon her arrival, there were no other people besides her brother and their friends in the common room. ron and hermione were sitting by on the couches while her brother was pacing infront of the roaring fire. they still had not noticed her presence when hermione had began to speak.
