Chapter 12

I felt the cold breeze of the air hugging my body.A sad smile formed in my lips as I looked down on the grave.

"It's been so many years since you left me,but the memories are still fresh on my mind."Tears started to build up in my eyes as I trace the name on the tombstone.

"How are you doing up there?Are you having fun?You won't feel any pain there.I wish heaven have visiting hours so I could see and talk to you again."I looked up to hold back my tears as I felt the pain raging inside me again.

Why does he take you in his paradise so early?We have a lot of plans to do and you have a lot of dreams to come true.Won't you have the chance to get back here? Because I really miss you.I miss everything about you, your smile,your laugh,your voice and the way you make me happy.I really miss our bond together.

"Do you remember my promise to you?That I will be a doctor someday?I will make that promise come true.That's a long way process,but because of you I decided to.I'm gonna be a doctor soon.Are you excited for me?Am I making you proud up there?I hope I did."Along with every word that comes out from me is the pain that I am feeling everyday since the day you left.

How can I forget those memories of my life?You are one of those stars I am holding in when the moon don't come out.When you left it's like a part of me shattered in million pieces and scattered in many different places.Sometimes,happy memories hurts the most.

"I miss hanging out with you.Pasensya kana kung ngayon lang ako nakadalaw sa'yo,ah?It takes me a long time to have a courage to face you.Alam mo miss ko na 'yung times na nag-papalipad tayo ng saranggola sa park.'Yung nag-picnic tayo at bike dalawa.Kaso hindi na mauulit 'yon kasi wala kana dito."Hindi ko napigilan ang mapahagulgol habang kinakausap ko siya.Ang sakit lang kapag alam mo na 'yung mahal mo sa buhay wala na.

"I wish,I could see you one more time.So that I can let you feel my love for you and how much you mean to me.But I know that's impossible, I can't hear your voice no more.I am missing you every day since the you went away,but I am missing you more today since it's your special day.Though you are not here...."I gathered air before I deeply sighed.A tear falls into the ground as I looked upon the sky thinking you are there smiling at me.

"...I want to wish you a very happy birthday...Shine.My only sister and one of my stars right now."

I'm about to looked for the cake I bought when I saw him holding it,slowly walking away from me.I hissed.

"Liam give that cake to me!"I shouted as I run towards him.

"No!Not until you call me love again!"he shouted back and run faster than me.Hindi ko maiwasan ang mapa-irap dahil umiral ang pagiging isip bata niya.

"Be careful!The cake might slipped in your hands!My sister will get mad at you!"He stopped and looked at me.Napahawak ako sa tuhod ko bilang suporta dahil sa hingal.

"Love,be careful.Baka nakakalimutan mo na inoperahan ka?"I raised my brow at him.He just smiled at me sweetly.

It's been almost three months since he was operated.He almost died after his operation.I passed out because of the panic and I was so worried when I woke up.I thought,he didn't make it.Mabuti nalang lumaban siya at hindi niya kami iniwan.He woke up after 13 hours and he stayed at the hospital for a week.Masyadong komplikado ang sitwasyon niya kaya nagtagal siya sa hospital.

"Hi,Shine.I'm your kuya Liam.Nice to meet you."Nakangiti niyang bati sa kapatid ko."You saw that woman?"He pointed at me,so I got confused."That's my life and my whole galaxy."My heart melted knowing how proud he is to me.
