[3 hours later, Eugeo POV]

"Hey, Eugeo." Kirito was making a post on social media, informing his followers he, along with the gang, would be returning to the VR world soon. I was watching him from behind, and we were still in bed after having sex. Neither of us felt tired yet, but we weren't bothered going downstairs either, so we stayed in our room. Kirito was the more tired one, as he was really turned on earlier, and the thrusting had probably tired him out. He was still a bit pink, showing he was tired, and so was his right hand which he used to text since he was lying on his left side.
"Yeah...?" I rested on his right shoulder with my elbows. He didn't seem to mind.
"Three hours."
"Eh?"
"Three hours is the time it took for me to realise you could have killed yourself." I gently hit him on the head with a fist and he turned around to face me quickly.
"Goddamnit, you reminded me too." He hit a button on his phone and the post was released. He put his phone down on the beside table next to mine which was charging, and turned the rest of his body around.
"Heh... I guess it worked... we both forgot for some time..." We stared each other down cutely, inspecting and looking at the details of our eyes. Kirito's navy blue eyes reminded me of the night sky, and the tiny glint in his iris that was reflected from a small opening in the curtain represented a star. It suited him too much; he'd look like a different person if those eyes were a lighter shade.

Our silent moment was rudely interrupted by my phone vibrating. I climbed over Kirito, almost pressing hard on his waist to grab it and unplug it. I was briefly blinded by its brightness and looked away slightly dazed before turning down its brightness and getting a proper look at what had notified me. What it was made my blood freeze.

Hastily I opened my phone with a face that looked like I'd stumbled upon a dead person. Kirito sat up too, wondering why I looked so scared.
"What is it?" I shushed him back, out of character, while scrolling down and tapping on the text conversation between me and my mother. I covered my mouth with my left hand and my breath started to get uneven. I hadn't even read the message yet, and I was this tense.
"It's... Mother..."

It was hard for me and your dad to get over this, Eugeo. I really don't want to say this but the fact you're gay means that we may see you differently. But it won't be for long, hopefully. I thank you for being so brave and coming out to us so suddenly. You very well caught us, sometimes we can be a bit judgemental of the LGBTQ community. That hasn't changed, and we may let our guard down by accident. I really do my best to try and control myself, I hope you believe that. At this point I know what I'm saying doesn't make sense, actually, so I'll just get to the point. I will continue supporting you, I will continue loving you, because you are my son. Even if you're gay, rich or poor, whatever mistakes you make, I still love you. I hope your relationship with Kirito is a good one too. I never thought you two would be going out, and neither did I think Kirito wasn't straight. I may think differently of gay relationships but I know you're happy with him, so I'll leave you alone. Once again, thank you for coming out. I still love you.

Mum's fine with it... she's fine with me and Kirito being together... but what about Dad? You practically said nothing about him, and you said you'd leave us alone... are you telling the truth? Do you still have a strong dislike to gay people?

Despite those thoughts in my head, I burst out in joyful tears anyway. They landed on the screen of my phone before I dropped it down on the duvet. Kirito wasn't able to read the message clearly so he picked it up and read it, and gave me a really tight hug. He pressed his head on my chest.
"I'm so glad, Eugeo..." I kept wailing, extremely relieved but still a tiny bit suspicious. I wiped the tears with the top of the duvet, wrapping my arms around Kirito, unable to calm down. He stroked my back gently and kissed my cheek as my cries kept getting more and more ugly.
