Deep Talk

Clarice's P.O.V

I woke up early and brought the kids to school before heading to my house to go work out

Right now I had my music on in my garage where I kept my gym equipment and I was lifting my weights

"Man look the view" I heard the voice of an angel say making me place my weights down

"What view?" I questioned as I wiped my face with my towel then look to see her staring at me

"What view do you thinking I'm talking about?" She said with a raised eyebrow and I blushed

"When did you become confident. I remember the shy girl who sat in the back of the class just so she didn't have to answer questions" I says to her and she walks over with a smirk

"People change" She said as she eyes me up and down

"Yes they do...Mia we need to talk" I say to her and stand up before taking a sip of water from my water bottle

"Okay we will...but take a shower you stink" She said scrunnching her nose up making me roll my eyes

"It's not like I was working out and getting sweaty or anything" I say sarcastically and she nodded her head

"Just go" she pushed me toward the garage door

"Wow so bossy" I say over my shoulder as I walked out of the garage

After I take my shower I go to my room and put on my red pollo shirt as well as my black jeans.

I headed down stairs to the living room to find Mia sitting there, staring into space thinking.

"Hey you okay?" I asked her as I sat down next to her but not to close so I didn't make her feel uncomfortable

"Yeah I was just thinking" She said snapping out of it

"What ya thinking about?" I ask her

she look down at her lap and began to play with her fingers like she always did when she got shy or nervous

"I'm your brother's wife" she says making me confused

"Yes I'm aware of that" I tell her and she looks at me

"But you don't treat me as if I am...you treat me like I'm someone way more special to you. Why?" she asked me shyly and I took a deep breath

"This is a deep talk..ha" I say nervously "Um...Mia you know I've always been protective of you ever since we meet freshman year"

"Yes I remember when you punched your brother that one time. But what does that have to do with anything" She say and chuckle like she remembered that day vividly

"...The reason for me being protective and always there for you is cause...Mia I um...well I lo-like you...like, like like you" I managed to get out and her eyes widen

"You-you do" She asked deep and I nodded my head

"Yes Mia I do" I tell her truthfully and she looked down

"Why didn't you say anything?" she questioned and I sighed

"I was gonna tell you but then you told me something first..."

*Flashback*

I took a deep breath and looked dover myself in the mirror

"You can do this...just tell her" I told myself then I walk out the bathroom and headed toward Mia's locker

"Hey did your parents tell you" Mia said as soon as I approached her and I titled my head in confusion

"Tell me what" I asked her and she began to get nervous

"Um...Clarke ans I are engaged" She said and my whole world stopped in that moment

I felt a sharp pain in my chest before trying to push it down

"Engaged...why? I thought you said he was a jerk and you were gonna break up with him" I asked her trying to stay calm

"...I'm pregnant Clare" She whispered out and my mouth fell out "My parents said I had to or else"

I pulled her in a hug as I saw tears slip out...I knew I now couldn't tell her she already going through alot

*End of flashback*

...

"Clare" She said to me and made me look at her since I was now looking down

"What?" I asked her gently and she looked in my eyes then started to lean in like last night

I feltbher lips against mine and I began to kiss her back with passion

"um..uh..." I said as we pulled away and she smirked teasingly

"Did I leave you that speechless" She teased me and I blushed

"..Mia...What was that for?" I asked her and she looked down before looking back up

"Clare I've always liked you...I was gonna leave Clarke not because he was a jerk...it was because I wanted you" She started to explain "But then I found out I was pregnant and so did my mom...and well she is traditional and talk to your parents and well you know how your dad is" She finished explaining

I stared at her for a few seconds before pulling her into a hug

"Thank you for explaining it to me" I tell her pulling back before I was pulled into a kiss again

"No thank you for always making me feel special even though you knew I was your brother's wife" she said to me and I smiled at her

"I'll always make you feel special now...will you go on a date with me next friday" I asked her and she smiled widely

"Yes I would love too"....
