Clarice's P.O.V

I got dressed in my court suit and adjusted my tie before leaving my room to go down stairs where the kids and Mia were eating lunch

"How do I look?" I ask them as I walked in to the dinning room

"You look great. Right kids?" Mia said to and came over to me pecking my lips before smoothing out the shoulders of my suit

"Yes auntie you look great" The kids said in unison and I went over and kissed their foreheads

"Okay I love you guys. Now I got to go" I tell them waving goodbye and as well as pecking Mia's lips before leaving

I waited nervous in the crowd of people after I had talk to the lawyer that I paid for.

After the prosecutor gave their statement the woman I hired stood up adjusting her clothing before speaking

"Your honor my client, Clarke Duke, has served enough time to know not to do it again and this man need to go home to his family. They miss him and need him I ask you to please release my client" My brother's lawyer said as she looked deep into the judges eye

After a moment of silence of the judge thinking we finally were given an answer

"I hear by release Mr.Duke on probation for 2 years" The judge said and I breathed out a sigh of relief before being pulled into a hug from my mom was beside me

"Thank you Clare. You found a fine young woman to defend your brother" She said and I looked over to see my brother with his famous flirtatious/happy smile while he talked to his lawyer

I shook my head and couldn't help but think that this was gonna be easier than I thought

My brother and I were both at the cafe we use to go to when we had to have an important talk

"So I'm guessing you have to tell me something very important to being me here" Clarke said while looking around before letting his eye land on me

"You know how I've been taking care of your family" I said to him and he nodded his head

"Yeah and I'm wicked thankful for that" He says to me giving me his charming smile

"Well the things is Mia and I got close again.." I tell him and he nodded his head

"Yeah and?" He asked me and I took a deep breath looking down at my lap

"I love her Clarke so much...she has always been. the girl I've dreamt about...she is sweet, kind, caring and written. She makes me feel not alone anymore." I blurted out to my brother and looked up to see a goofy smile on his face

"Shit!...Took you long enough to admit it" He said to me smiling like a goofball

"Wait you knew?!" I asked him and my mouth fell open

"Come on Clare I could've asked mom or even Mia's mom to take care of my family...but I chose you" He says to me and I was in total utter shock

"So times your a pain in my butt but you are also sometimes the best" I said to him before stand up then made him stand up before pulling him into a hug

"I also sent her the divorce papers. Your welcome" He said as we pulled back and I smiled widely at him

"I have something else to ask you"....
