A Date

Clarice's P.O.V

I got my black dress pants on as well as my white button up shirt that I matched with my black blazer.

I grabbed my keys to my black Camaro then headed to Mia's room and knocked on the door

"One second" I heard her say before the door opened revealing a gorgeous woman in red sparkling dress

"Wow..um...you look stunning" I said to her and she blushed

"Well so do you" she says as she fixes my collar before closing her door and snatching my hand in her's leading us downstairs

Once we are downstairs I walked over to Jenny my assistant also my best friend who was babysitting for us

"Okay you have my number and I emailed you my mom's as well as Mia's if anything happens" I said to Jenny and she nodded her head

"I got it Clare now go have fun...you never do" She says and I smile at her

"That is true" I say to her before listening into what Mia was saying to the kids

"Okay you three be on your best behavior for Jenny and she'll give you the suprise I got you" She told them and they nodded their heads

"We will be good mommy" Liv said before they all three hugged her before coming over to me and doing the same

"Bye Jenny and bye kids" I said before leading Mia out to my car

As we reached the restaurant I looked over to see Mia's eye widen in shock

"This place looks so fancy and expensive" She says in 'Awwe'

After she spoke stared at the restaurant till an idea popped in my head

"Actually how about we go somewhere else?" I asked and looked over to her

"We don't have to if you don't want to" she says to me and I shook my head

"I don't want to eat here....give me a few" I told her before I head inside

I walked over to the closest waiter I could find

"Hi ma'ma what can I do for you?" He asked me and I smiled politely

"I would like to talk to the owner of the place"...

After I got what I needed from the restaurant I brang us to our favorite place from when we were teenagers

"What are we doing at our old school?" Mia questioned me with a confused expression on her face

"You'll see" I told her grabbing the bag from the backseat and lead her to the football field that was only lit up by the stadium lights

Once we were in the middle of the field I grabbed the bag that and took out the restaurants cloth they had let me borrow and laid it down on the grass then motioned Mia, who seem to be taking everything in still, to sit down which she did.

I sat next to her and took out the two take out boxes that were filled with food. I placed Mia's box infront of her then mine infront of me

After a few seconds Mia finally snapped out of her trance then pulled me into a bone crushing hug

"Thank you! Thank you thank you!" She says before releasing me with a huge smile on her face

"For what?" I asked confused at why she was thanking me

"Nobody has done something this special for me not even..." she stopped herself from mentioning him

"Well you deserve only the best Mia" I tell her truthfully then I felt her lips against mine and I kissed her back passionately

After a few seconds we pulled away both smiling at each other

"Now let's eat" She said and opened up to see her favorite food in the box which only made her smile more if possible which made me super happy

"Yes we shall" I told her and she chuckled before starting to eat her food as I did the same

The rest of the night consisted of conversation, laughter and chasing each other around like we did when we were younger

I couldn't have asked for a better first date with my brother's wife...
