Chapter 11

"Who are you talking about?" Ben said "Sophy you are confusing me!"

"The day I broke up with you, I got a text from my father" I told him

"Your father? I thought he had been missing for 3 years?" Ben said

"That is true, we stopped dating 3 years ago! I told him I would break up with you, and he would let my family and you be. But I got a text from him yesterday" I told Ben

"Okay... should I be worried?" Ben asked

"No he is not after you!" I said

"Then what does he want?" Ben asked me

"He wants me to break up with Josh and if I don't he will kill him" I told him

"He won't be able to hurt him! and you shouldn't listen to him!" Ben said "He only does it, because it makes him feel that he can control you"

"You don't get it, do you?" I asked him "He have killed before, so what is stopping him this time?" I asked

"Maybe the fact that the police are following him all the time?" Ben said

"They aren't...." I said

"What do you mean?" Ben asked me

"Two weeks ago, they call us, my mother wasn't home. They said that they lost track of him" I said

"Okay..... Here is what we are gonna do! you are gonna tell Josh! And you will tell him EVERYTHING!" Ben told me "and then we are getting some security on him and then hire some people to find you father Everything will be alright Sophia!"

"Okay thank you Ben!" I said "there is one more thing, my real name isn't Sophia it's Stephanie"

"Okay? But I still get to call you Sophy right?" He asked

"Yes because I don't want people to know about this!" I told

"okay! Come let's get home, we have been gone for 2 hours now" Ben told me

As we walked through the front door, I was hugged by Josh

"Don't ever leave me for that long time again! or at least answer your phone!" Josh said to me

I took out my phone and saw 4 missed calls and 7 texts..

"I'm sorry" I said, almost crying, I didn't know why but I did

"Hey baby, don't cry! What is wrong?" Josh asked me

I looked over at Ben who nodded; Josh looked confused between Ben and I

"Josh we need to talk" I told him

"Are you breaking up with me? I promise whatever I did I will make it better!" Josh said

"No I'm not breaking up with you, but I have to tell you something, so please sit down" I told him. Ben left the room and Josh sat down in the couch

"Josh there is a reason that none of you know why I broke up with Ben, yes I was the one that broke up with ben" I said Josh looked at me "I was black mailed"

"Okay and why is that such a big secret?" he asked

"Because it was my father, the one that the police is trying to hide us from" I said, Josh looked like he had just seen a ghost

"It gets worse!" I said "Yesterday he texted me again"

Josh looked seriously scared now

"He wants me to break up with you, and if I don't he will kill you" I was crying so bad, either way I would lose the love of my life!
