Organized Workspace

A messy workspace can lead to not knowing where things are, not having things you need for your classes, and missing assignments. Keeping your workspace clean, while it may be difficult at times, will very much help you.

During the beginning of online school last spring, my desk was always messy, and it was hard to find materials I needed for class. After a few weeks of online learning, I figured out some good systems for me.

Everyone has a different life, meaning I can't tell you exactly what will and won't work, but I can give you some ideas.

Keep all of your school things in one place, somewhere near your workspace, so you won't lose things. If you take something out, put it back where it was. Don't leave everything in a pile on your desk.

I suggest having a container for pencils and pens so they don't get left everywhere.

Look at your current workspace. Is everything you need for school on or near it? Is it clean? If not, what could you do differently?

If the place where you store your materials is in a different place than your workspace, I recommend you get a bag so you have less of a chance of forgetting something.
