Sigh. Maria. Why, why would you even ask this? I mean, I'm going to answer this, but gurllll
Okay, but now, onto the advice!
I personally have never had a problem with this, but I've heard other people do. I think one way that might help is to always keep yourself busy. No, not multitasking and not listening to the lecture, no no. I mean taking notes on what your teacher is saying, maybe drawing a picture if that helps you stay focused. I don't know, maybe a fidget, if that helps you.
But if you're tired enough to fall asleep in the first place, you need to get more sleep at night. Go to bed a bit earlier, or wake up a bit later if you can. If you are well-rested, you might have less of a problem with staying awake during the school day.
I also find that excercising helps me wake up on mornings when I am tired. Not like vigorous training, just maybe a few stretches or situps.
Make sure to stay hydrated as well.
All in all, to stay awake during class, you just have to stay awake. Don't close your eyes for long periods of time, and don't do online school lying down in your bed. If your put enough effort into it, you'll be sure to stay awake!
