My stomach is stirring steadily, hardening my grip on the textbooks I'm carrying. I pull my lips inwards, my eyes on the concrete floor as I walk home. He didn't have to lie to me if he was with someone, it's not like it would make a difference to me, it's not suppose to have this sort of effect on me. I find myself at my front door and sigh as I open the door before entering the house.
I walk straight up the stairs and into my room where I collapse on my bed. I grab my headphones and plug them into my phone drowning myself in the music.
I soon feel my eye lids go heavy before falling asleep.
.......
I feel something, something irritating and it keeps constantly jabbing at my cheek, I open one eye just about enough to focus upon two sparkling emerald eyes. "Jas" Harry coos into my face and continues to dig into my right cheek, "go away" I groan masking my face with the end of my pillow.
I'm mad at him, he lied to me and how did he even get in here? "How did you even get in?" I grumble out my thoughts, my face still squished against one side of my pillow "your mum let me in, she says you're all moody" he answers sitting beside me shifting the bed.
Me being moody? okay maybe.
I sit up and cringe when I notice my dress ruffled up my thighs, I can feel Harrys eyes on me, I stiffen.
"Uh let's.. start the lesson then" I announce getting myself up from the bed.
"Mhmm" he mumbles gathering his books, I leave him in my room sorting his stuff out while I get changed. I wipe the excess makeup off my face and pull my hair to a side, I can't be asked about my appearance and wear my pyjamas. Which is an over sized minnie mouse hoody and pink cotton pants which my mum got me for thanksgiving.
I chuckle as I walk out of the bathroom remembering that day, she was so nervous as it was a last minute gift she found on sale at the department store.
I grab my glasses off the shelf and notice Harry looking at me again, "What?" I blurt rudely, he narrows his eyes at me.
"Why are you all sulky?" he questions standing up. I feel like screaming at him, he doesn't seem to even care, I place my hand on my hips "do you really wanna know?" I encounter. His face doesn't hold any emotion.
"I can't believe you lied to me about having 'football practice" I quote with my fingers "you could have just told me the truth, that you where with that girl, whoever she is!" I bark a bit too loudly.
His breath becomes harsh and shallow as he steps closer towards me. I shuffle back until I realize I'm trapped into a corner, "wha-what are you doing?" I barely whisper he looks annoyed and his eyes are dark.
There's a knock on the door which makes me jump, Freya's head appears, "Uh Jas..mum wants to know if Harry is staying for dinner?" She questions warily, her eyes looking between me and Harry.
"No, I was just leaving.." Harry mutters as he grabs his belongings and walks out giving Freya a small smile.
"Okay then.." she trails off and closes the door, I hear Harry talking to my mum for a while and then the front door slams shut. Why is he so angry? He was the one that lied to me? Was I too hard on him?
The sound of my phone ringing shakes me out of my thoughts, I bring the phone up to my ear "Uh hello" I croak.
"Hey Jas..what's wrong?" Niall questions worried.
"Oh nothing" I sigh.
"It was Harry, wasn't it?" he retorts. "Did he tell you?"
"Tell me what?" I ask pacing back and fourth around my room.
"I knew something was up when you asked about the whole, football practice thing" he continues.
"So I went to find Harry after school, he was at the sports hall at the cheerleaders practice"
I gulp.
"I found him with Taylor, you know his girlfriend"
My heart is racing.
"What are you saying Niall?" I whisper.
"I found Taylor close to tears, he seemed to be hushed as he was trying to disclose something to her..I think he was breaking up with her Jas" he finishes.
"What?" I gasp.
I know this is such a short chapter but it took me ages to write because I kept on getting distracted ._. Thank you for reading and I'll be updating soon xoxox
