I spent days on the street, buying food off of the closet petrol stations. There was even a day where some people asked who I was and what had happened to me.

So I had a couple scars on my arms, and I was bleeding from running carelessly in the forest the day I was escaping, but that doesn't mean I was in trouble, now does it?

Eventually, I found a small apartment. I gave the owner of the building extra money so he wouldn't be asking questions. The rent was pretty cheap and the apartment was big enough for me and a guest.

I managed to buy a couple clothes and some furniture. I didn't buy too much furniture since I was afraid that I would be found, then I'd have to run again.

I only bought a small bed, a sofa, a couple chairs and a fridge. It wasn't much but it was enough for me. There was already an island in the kitchen so I decided not to buy a table. I could always just eat and study on there or on my bed.

I didn't bother buying a t.v either. I had a phone and a laptop which was enough. T.V would be a waste of my time.

That was my first week as a free girl.

I think after six months, I finally enrolled myself in a public school. It was definitely hard since I didn't have a legal guardian, but I ended up using Niall's name since he was my official caretaker, just not anymore.

My first day was really awkward. I remember the teacher calling me up to the front to introduce myself.

"Okay, everyone! My name is Miss Jenny, we have a new student with us today. Her name is Lyanna Jones. Come here Lyanna." She gestured me to come forth.

I shyly walked up to the front and tucked my hair behind my ears.

"Introduce yourself." She asked.

"Umm, h-hi, my name is Lyanna Jones, but you can call me Anna. I'm eleven years old and...umm?" I couldn't tell them anything else about me. It was too harsh for an eleven year old to go through, but it's not like they would believe me anyway. Still, I could never tell them anything. The teacher could put me in jail for killing those people.

"Well you can always tell us your favourite colour, or your hobbies?" Miss Jenny said, interrupting my thoughts.

"Um, well, my favourite colour is blue....and ummm.." I thought about my hobbies, they weren't pretty. Most of them included me using knives.

"I like to play with my hair a lot." I ended. I really did like to play with hair. It was girly but it was the only hobby I could think of before my time as up.

"Well thank you for telling us that. By the way, I really like your hair." Miss Jenny had smiled and winked at me.

I was sat next to a girl with short blonde hair and purple glasses.

"Hi! My name is Joanna Mc Callin!" She whipped her hand out, surprisingly caught mine, and began shaking our hands frighteningly.

"Hi...Joanna.." I said awkwardly. She was so outgoing and energetic. I liked her!

Joanna became my best friend. She was always by my side and never bothered to ask questions about my private life. She was a beautiful human being. Her blonde hair would attract every boy's attention, even when we were in primary school. Her eccentric blue eyes would kill me because they were that gorgeous.

She was never an attention seeker, nor was she a brat. She was really smart too. Her brain worked like clockwork, but she hated sports or anything to do with physical activity.
