Smiling in the mirror, dressed like a princess with dazzling shoes, professional makeup, a professional hair stylist, a ballgown fit for a Disney princess, and all the jewelry any girl would die for. Just what any girl would imagine on her wedding day. I honestly thought I looked like Alice from Alice in Wonderland on her wedding day. It was beautiful. Love was definitely in the air for me, although I could say differently for Misa Amane, Light's supposed "girlfriend", who wasn't invited, and is also screaming at the entrance demanding to be let in.
I knew it was almost time, as I had borrowed my grandmother's old pocket watch. "(Y/N)? Are you ready? It's almost time." My best friend, Touta Matsuda called from the other side of the door. "Yes. You can come in, you know?" I questioned, feeling my nerves grow in the pit of my stomach. "Wow... you look absolutely stunning. Light will be in tears I bet." Matsuda joked, trying to ease my anxiety a bit. "I think so, too. But let's not tell him that." I joked, giving Matsuda the 'shhh' face.
"Alright. It's time." Matsuda beamed as he held out his arm for me to take as he lead me to walk down the aisle. I began collecting heavy, yet steady breaths, keeping my composure. Seeing as Light is a very well-respected man, I wouldn't want to make him look bad in front of everyone he cared about, but that's the wife's job, right? Saying everything you can to turn them red and making them look away from everyone, casting their gaze to the floor.
Then, there I saw him. My knight in shining armor, my prince in disguise, albeit I knew L had been attending our wedding using his alias "Ryuzaki". It's still peculiar how L senses that Light is Kira even though I helped him dispose of the notebook properly as I had convinced him a simple life with a good job, a wife and kids would be so much better. Especially since he would be able to live out his life helping me be the best I can be with both of us bringing in an income, having a luxurious place to live, and more things to plan for our kids and our future, which he agreed upon when he heard me talking about it.
"Wow. You look absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to build my life with you. To think that you were my girlfriend for four years. I am still proud of myself for asking for you to be mine forever." Light smiled snapping me out of my thoughts. "I am so ready for this." I agreed, hinting that I was a tad nervous about this. "Light, please cite your vows." The officiant said, looking at him. "(Y/N), you were the most beautiful woman I had ever laid eyes on all those years ago at To-Oh University. You're definitely a ray of sunshine on my worst days, bringing me coffee or tea when I'm working late, laying your head on top of my shoulder when I become stressed about something. You always know just what to say, and I am truly grateful that our paths crossed because, without you, I wouldn't have the confidence I have today. I thank you for that, and now I will love you, protect you and guide you for the rest of your life. I love you." Light smiled as a small tear ran down his cheek.
"Now, (Y/N), your vows please." The officiant smiled, turning his gaze to me. "As the song speaks of building love from the ground up, I wish to do just that with you. In one piece of the lyrics, it says, 'This life will go by in the blink of an eye but I wouldn't want to spend it without you by my side. The clouds are gonna roll, the earth's gonna shake, but I'll be your shelter through the wind and the rain' and I wouldn't want anything less. I know I may not be perfect, but you make me feel like I am, and always will be enough for you. I will admit I feel like a Disney princess, but it's so worth it if I'm here with you. I love you, I really, truly love you." I grin, feeling my heart beating faster with those words. Soon after we say our I do's, the officiant immediately tells Light he can kiss me, knowing we've been holding back for so long. For once, I feel a swell in my heart as Light and I share our first kiss as husband and wife. Mrs. (Y/F/N) (Y/M/N) Yagami.
~4 Years Later~
It has officially been four years since Light and I have been married. Misa has tried convincing Light to use the notebook on me, but Light showed Misa proof that it was gone for good, seeing as he had four kids running around the house. Light had a business that was internationally successful, I was a mother-daughter fashion designer, and our kids were exceptionally brilliant as well. I was beyond grateful for the life I have, and I wouldn't want to change it any other way.

(A/N): I'm so sorry that this chapter is so short. Light is just my least favorite character and I didn't put much thought into this seeing as it's 12:15 AM and I have work tomorrow. So much fun, right?! (:
