Through the quiet chords of existence, Arina had never been the kind of girl to stand out amidst the glittering distractions of the world. She moved like a soft note between the louder symphonies of other lives, never quite at the centre, never quite seeking it. Life had painted itself in sharp contrasts around her: colours too bold, injustices too loud. Love, especially, was not something she chased; it was a myth she observed from afar, never imagining it would one day find her in a moment of stillness and change everything.
But feelings have a way of arriving unannounced, of weaving their way into even the most guarded hearts. And once entangled in that quiet chaos, Arina found herself unable to navigate the path she once thought she understood. The roads that stretched before her twisted into unfamiliar turns, choices whispered in riddles, and the past knocked gently, begging not to be repeated.
This is not merely a tale of love or longing. It is the story of a young woman trying to stitch the torn fabric of her fate. Will life be kind this time? Or will the winds of uncertainty test her once more?
In learning how to stand firm, upright, and unshaken, Arina must discover what it truly means to be whole. Not for someone else. Not to be seen. But to be truly, deeply herself.
Welcome on board, dear readers.
I am rewriting and editing this novel. There are going to be a lot of changes, the pov has shifted to the third person, the plotline might change a little and you'll be having a whole new different experience of reading 'stranded roads' again. I first published in 2015, and now, after 10 long years, I've finally decided to polish this amazing piece of literature.
The updates are going to be painfully slow since I'm still studying and hardly get time. I'll require your utmost patience with me, and in return, I'll put my best into rewriting this book.
Guys, please do give me feedback as it motivates and helps me to write better.
