Tightening the laces from my shoes I hitched a heavy exhale before seeing some fans and cameraman entering the venue

My anxiousness grew when I see Yohan sunbaenim enter the hall, although he is still in crouches. Honestly, Yohan sunbaenim did nothing to me, I just don't like how I am always solely compared to him by people most especially by our trainer

"Yohaan ~!" our trainer cheered and dome fans clamor in joy seeing the hiatus athlete. Yohan greeted some of our friends and I stayed behind until our eyes met

He knew personally what my problem was and he is one of the people who understood my stand was an active competing player

He taps my shoulder before I help him sit down next to me, for a moment the both of us was just in silence and admires the athlete doing their run-through

"I really didn't want anyone using my Ice skates, ---- and I know you didn't want it either"

I plainly listen to Yohan sunbaenim, we really don't have our own standing this dilemma when it comes to our trainers' decision

"You can offer it back to me and I'll buy you a new one"

I chuckled lightly before facing him and sees his amused face

"Thanks sunbaenim but I'm just borrowing it for now, that's fine right?"

Nodding lightly he shifts his head a little towards me before smiling widely

"Just win it for me"

We both shared a quick happy moment before I walk out from the bleachers to start my run through

"Next contestant Park Sunghoon" I skate towards the front part extending my arm for an introductory start

Ending my performance in a 90 degrees bow, I skate my way back to the bleachers accepting the cover from the skates before drinking my water

As I slightly face up my eyes darted a familiar figure at the side of the benches near our bleachers, I felt an uplifting spirit seeing him wave at me but then I turned suddenly frowning seeing another guy with him

He was quite young to be exact, his face it's like super round and he is just.... wasn't my type of friend seeing how close they were

I gulped down my water before sitting down beside Yohan sunbaenim, usually at this point, if he were alone I would come up there myself and start talking with him but seeing him already having fun gives me no right to interfere 

Looking back again they were still talking, laughing, and continuously smiling at each other, I rolled my eyes before crossing my arms

When the competition ended, I did a bro fist with Yohan before they all went home. Jake and that guy went down and the next thing I know he was introducing him to me

"Sunghoon, I want you to mee Daniel. He's a friend of mine"
