I stand up skating my way on the center of the rink before I get into position —this is my last run-through before the semi-finals next week

After like good 30min I get my review from my trainer before sliding back to my bleachers, I tap on my phone feeling down to see no texts or calls from Jake

"Sunghoon-ah"

Iwave my right hand; tilting a small smile before Sunoo plops down entirely in front of me laying a box of lunch

"my mother made this since it's too good I hope you'd like it —"

"Oh and also I planned about our whole day what if we go ---"

His words went straight through my other ear as I start to get deaf with each passing word, it's not really in my vocabulary to push people away from me but if uncomfortable with Jake then I'll do it

"hey are you listening?" I spaz out from my thought before I see him expecting for my response,

"What's wrong?"

I sigh heavily before swallowing the last food that's keeping me from talking; I rub nervously at my nape before looking back straight to Sunoo

"I think we should lessen our time being together" — I see how Sunoo's face darkened by my first sentence and I could only punch myself mentally fro being not good with words

"But don't take it the wrong way, we can still see each other... but not every day or every minute. It's unfair for Jake and I don't want him to think I have him left out just because you are back"

"Don't take it hardly Sunoo, I just think it's fair for both that I spend most my time with my boyfriend since he really deserves it, and --- you know it's been weeks since we both had our alone time"

I hesitate to talk more that might hurt Sunoo emotionally and I am keeping my limit so he won't feel any pain or I might be responsible if he gets emotionally hurt

"eyy it's fine okay? I understand Jake, if I were him I wouldn't let you go out even for practice"

I closed my eyes in relief exhaling the excess air trapped inside my body
