Sunlight flooded my room, and I couldn't sleep anymore if I tried. I need to pee in the worst way, but Tristan had a tight grip around my waist. If only I could sneak away without waking him. I could feel my bladder past capacity. I clenched my thighs together and slightly rocked my hips, in a typical potty dance fashion.

Trying to move Tristan's hand backfired, he tightened his grip and pulled me flush against him. His soft snoring continued and if my bladder wasn't about to burst, I would have found the sound relaxing. You would think all my wriggling would wake him.

Just as I was about to try another getaway I felt something pressing against me. OH MY! It seems all my wiggling has turned him on, even in his sleep. He stopped snoring and pulled my hips against his newly awakened friend.

"Tristan, I need to get up." He sighed behind me and let me go. As soon as my feet hit the floor I was running. Sweet relief. I fixed up my hair in the mirror and quickly brushed my teeth before heading back to my room. Tristan was sitting up against the headboard with a pillow on his lap.

"Oh good, your up." I wanted to get back to the hospital to see Josh, but I can't drive myself.

"In more ways than one." His intense gaze made me feel nervous. I'm an adult, I know these things happen to men in the morning, I don't need to make it a big deal.

"I noticed." As soon as the words left my lips warmth spread across my cheeks, and he smiled at my blushing face. So much for playing it cool.

"Is that why you ran away?" I shook my head in response. Before I could say anything my phone rang on my nightstand table. My mom.

"Hello!"

"Hi sweetheart, I just wanted to call and let you know Josh is doing well. He's sleeping now but when he wakes up I'll call you. Is Tristan okay to drive?"

"Yeah, I think so. Josh is going to be ok?"

"He will need some recovery time, but he'll be just fine. Maybe you could take an Uber to the hospital so Tristan doesn't have to drive. I imagine he will be in more pain today than yesterday."

"Alright mom, call me when Josh wakes up." She hung up the phone and a car horn blared from outside. Oh no, I forgot to tell Brenda what happened last night. I threw my sweatshirt back on and ran down the stairs, not thinking twice about leaving Tristan alone in my room.

"Hey A, sorry I'm late. Where's your bag?" She was yelling out the passenger window to me as I approached.

"I'm not going to school today B, sorry I forgot to call you last night." She looked sleepy, and that wasn't usual for Brenda.

"If you're not going, I'm coming in and taking a nap in your bed." She turned off the car and got out walking towards my house.

"Brenda..." She stopped and turned to me. "Josh was in a car accident yesterday. He's gonna be ok, but I'm going to see him when he wakes up." Her eyes bulged and her mouth fell open.

"What happened?!" Panic evident in her voice, I started walking up to the porch and she followed.

"All I know is he was driving home with Tristan and his phone was going off, when he reached for it he blew through a red light and was hit by a car. My mom stayed at the hospital last night, and Tristan is here." Her eyes darted around the first floor, I assume she was looking for Tristan.

"He's upstairs." We both looked to the stairs as Tristan started walking down. He had taken off his bloody T-shirt and was just wearing baggy sweatpants. He looked like an Abercrombie model. Okay well, maybe he would if he didn't look like he lost a fight to a wood chipper.
