The music filled the silence that hung heavy in the car. The man who carried me out was busy driving and the other man in the back was busy on his computer. That is until he snapped it shut and looked up at me.

"How are you feeling darling, we have our doctor waiting at the compound but he just contacted me to see if there was anything urgent."

I cleared my throat and looked from the man driving to the man in the back again.

"I... I don't know," was I supposed to just tell these men my every secret right from the start did they really expect me to do that.

The man behind me chuckled, "No we don't expect you to tell us your every secret, but it would be very helpful if you can tell me where it hurts so I can help you."

My cheeks burned and I quickly looked down. The driver patted my leg, "It's okay if you don't want to talk yet Lily we won't force you."

The two men shared a few glances and they left it at that. Not too long after that I managed to curl up against the door and fall asleep.

"Hey there Lily we are at the compound and you need to get out."

I groaned and tried to turn away, but a memory crossed my mind of the last time I did that and I sat up immediately. "I'm so sorry please I'm sorry."

The man looked at me and that same look of sadness crossed in his eyes, "It's okay Lily, your okay. Nothing is wrong, you did nothing wrong. Let's just go inside, do you need me to carry you or do you want to try to walk?"

I looked down at my bare feet and remembered how much it had hurt to even try and stand back home. "If you want, can you please help?" I looked up at the man and saw a tiny smile on his lips.

"Ofcourse do I want to help you Lily,"

He lifted me up and carried me inside the building. From the outside it looked kind of old but the inside was so much different than I expected it to be.

The man that was behind me in the car walked up to us and smiled at me, "It's nice right we fixed it up not too long ago."

The man that was called press was standing on the other side of the room, "Come on boys we have to talk about how it went and I think you need to explain some things to a certain someone."

He looked from one man to the other and then his eyes rested on me, "Have you eaten yet today darling?"

His intense gaze made me blush and I looked down and I muttered a quiet no.

"Well that has to change, you guys start the debrief and I will whip up some food for our wonderful guest."

A man I had seen back at the house was standing in front of me, when he saw me looking at him he shot me a quick wink.

When we were all situated around a table I couldn't help the nerves from starting up again. Here I was in a room with more than twenty men and the only thing I could think about was how badly that had ended for me the last time that this had happened. It felt like someone had sucked all the air out of the room and I had a tight feeling around my chest. I tried desperately to suck the air into my lungs, it felt like I was choking on my own spit.

Suddenly I felt myself being lifted off the chair I was sitting on and I was put on the floor with my head between my knees. I knew they were trying to help me but it only caused me to panick even more being, I felt so vulnerable.

Someone pulled me in their arms and started rocking side to side and not too long after that I could hear the tune they were humming. It was my favorite childhood song that I would always sing whenever I could. My tears dried and I looked up at the man.
