The New Beginning

Chapter 5

I'm outside trying to calm myself down, everyone knows. I'm going to be treated differently, everyone's going to think me or Harry is the heir.

"kill you...rip you..kill you...I want blood... kill you"

I start to hear that voice again and I frown, it won't leave me alone. I get up and follow it, it's becoming more aggressive. I get back into the hallways of hogwarts and I see professor McGonagall with Harry.

"What's happen"

"Nothing, we're just talking to Harry."

"Well then I'll go with him"

"That's not necessary"

"Professor McGonagall to be honest with you. You can leave and I'd follow him up, I'm the headmasters goddaughter. I have all of the passwords."

"Fine Professor Dumbledore will be waiting for you."

She looks at me and I smile, she says the code.

"SHEBERDLEMON"

We get onto the moving steps and we make it to his office. We walk in and I smile, I use to love being here. I would come visit him but I would try to stay away from the students.

"professor Dumbledore?"

We walk up the large stairs and I smile, I see the sorting hat on the top shelf.

"Bee in your bonnet, Potter"

"eh, eh, I was, I was just wandering if you put me in the right house"

"yes you and Alexis were particularly diffcult to place But I stand by what I said last year
you both would've done well in Slytherin"

"you are wrong"

I grab his hand and walk away, we get up to his pheniox and I smile. I remember when I would visit and the bird would fly around. The bird starts to shake and then he turns to ash, Harry starts to freak out.

"Harry, Alexis"

"Professor, sir...your bird there was nothing I could do he just caught fire"

"oh, about time, too"

He starts to walk down the stairs and I smile at him.

"he's been looking dreadful for days pity,you had to see him on a Burning Day"

I make him look at me and I smile.

"Fawkes is a phoenix, Harry. they burst into flame when it is time for them to die and they are reborn from the ashes."

We all look to see a baby bird moving in the large ash pile.

"oh"

"Their Fascinating creatures, phoenixes. They can carry immensely heavy loads, their tears have healing powers"

The door opens and in walks hagrid, I smile and I turn to him.

"Professor Dumbledore,sir, wait,
listen Professor Dumbledore,sir,it wasn't harry."

"Hagrid"

"in fact I prepare to swear it in front of the Ministry of Magic"

"Hagrid! relax I do not think that Harry attacked anyone."

He stops taking so fast and looks at us.

"of course you don't oh, ..oh,great! ...then... I'll just wait outside"

He walks out and I turn to the two. Harry smiles and speaks up.

"you don't think it was me, Professor?"
