The New Beginning

Chapter 2

The trial happened a few days ago and we're walking down to the train station to board the train. Sirius walks down the train way in his animagus form.

"Padfoot. Are you barking mad? You'll blow the entire operation."

Harry and I quickly walk into the side room.

"Sirius, what are you doing here? If somebody sees you"

They both sit down and I stand near the wall.

"I had to see you off, didn't I? What's life without a little risk?"

"I don't wanna see you get chucked back in Azkaban."

"Don't worry about me."

"Anyway, I wanted you to have this."

He hands Harry a picture of the original group.

"Original Order of the Phoenix."

He points to a person and I frown, I slowly make my way over to them.

"Marlene McKinnon. She was killed two weeks after this was taken. Voldemort wiped out her entire family."

He looks at Harry and back at the picture.

"Frank and Alice Longbottom."

"Neville's parents."

"They suffered a fate worse than death, you ask me."

I look at the picture and I see them standing together.

"It's been 14 years. And still a day doesn't go by I don't miss your dad."

He turns to him mans smiles, he looks at me and does the same.

"Do you really think there's going to be a war, Sirius?"

"It feels like it did before."

Harry looks down and goes to hand Sirius back the picture. He puts his hand out and I smile at them.

"You keep it. Anyway, I suppose you're the young ones now."

He smiles at Harry and then he stands up. They walk over to the door and Harry slips out, I turn to Sirius.

"I'll miss you"

"You too, protect him. He may be an adult but he'll always need it."

"Sirius, I've always protected. Not because he was a child, but because he's my brother."

He smile down at me, he comes and hugs me. I hug him back and smile.

"We may not be related but I consider you family."

"You too Sirius"

I pull away from him and follow after Harry. We quickly get onto the trains and we sit down. I'm starting to feel tired so I lean back and close my eyes.

"Alexis, Alexis"

I look around and I'm still at the train station, I start to walk toward the entrance and I see a figure standing there.

Alexis, you'll be next. I'll find you and Harry, I'll kill you both

I quickly sit up and look around, I see I'm still on the train. Herimone and Ron walk in, I look at them and smile.

"Hello"

I calm myself down and look out the window, we make it to the station and I get off. The trio is behind me, but I keep my focus on trying to get to the castle.

"I'm surprised the Ministry's still letting you walk around free. Better enjoy it while you can. I expect there's a cell in Azkaban with your name on it."
