The New Beginning

Chapter 4

"Now, focus on a fixed point and try again."

Harry is helping Neville, I smile and watch them.

"Expelliarmus."

Nothing happens but it's fine, I move them over to see if they could levitate a smaller student.

"Very good. Keep your concentration."

Harry moves over to help cho, I smile at them and look at the young boy floating off the group.

"Great."

"A little higher."

Cho looks at my brother and she seems to lose focus. He goes to fall but I catch him.

"I'm okay. I'm okay."

I'm with Fred and George as they're hiding behind a pillar. They set chocolates out on me. Filchs seat. He smiles and sits down, he start to eat them and he grows large pimples.

"Come on"

I grab their hands and we make it back to the room of requirements. I start helping a small blonde boy, I think his name was Jackson.

"Stupefy."

He goes to point it at me but nothing happens. I correct his hand posture and how he's holding his wand.

"Try again"

"Stupefy."

I get thrown back a little and smile at him. I walk back over and catch him.

"Good job, that was amazing."

"Those wishing to join the Inquisitorial Squad for extra credit may sign up in the high inquisitor's office."

Most of the Slytherin boys get a medal, I see draco smiling. I look at him and lightly smile, we may have kissed but nothing has really happen since I found out about the connection.

"Diminuendo."

The dummy scurries off and I laugh, Harry is helping a few people while he talks.

"Working hard is important, but there's something that matters even more: Believing in yourself."

He walks around as I help George and Ron. Fred comes over and smiles.

"Think of it this way. Every great wizard in history has started out as nothing more than what we are now: students. If they can do it, why not us?"

"Stupefy."

"Expelliarmus."

"Expelliarmus."

"Expelliarmus."

Everyone is shooting off spells as the dummy goes around in circles. Ginny smiles and yells.

"Reducto."

The dummy goes to crisp and I high five her. Everyone looks at her and we laugh.

"Everyone get with a partner and practice."

I look at the Christmas tree and smile, I watch Harry move closer to cho. She's smiling at him and I can't help but look at my friends.

"Expelliarmus."

I move over to the boy and smile, Harry touches his shoulder.

"Fantastic, Neville. Well done, man."

I hug him tightly and pull away, I look at everyone and smile.

"So that's it for this lesson. Now, we' re not gonna be meeting again until after the holidays. So just keep practicing on your own as best you can. And well done, everyone. Great, great work."
