(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
"Sheesh! That was a lot of work," I exclaim. I plop down onto the dirt ground beside the grave Eddie and I had just finished, letting out a large exhale.
Eddie giggles as he leans against his shovel. He states down at me throw his burlap mask with a smile (although I couldn't see it).
"Aww, come on, (Y/n)! It was just a few graves we had to make," Eddie giggles. He holds his gloved hand out for me to take, by which I gladly take it. He pulls me back onto my feet.
Eddie and I share B4, a floor located in this building. We both were experienced gravekeepers because both of our families coming from years of gravekeeping. Due to Eddie and I always being together, Albert, Eddie's abusive older brother, used to beat the both of us despite us doing nothing wrong.
The abuse caused our sanity to deplete. We soon were driven over the edge, leading us to kill an innocent girl. However, us killing her led to her a peaceful death where she could escape her toxic household.
Now Eddie and I both reside in this building as Angels. A job was given to us by Gray. We were the Angels to his God. We were his Angels in this world.
Referring back to the present, I dust off my hands onto my overalls. Eddie and I wore similar outfits, his attire consisting of a white shirt, overalls, a burlap mask, and a red scarf while mine was a (f/c) shirt with overalls.
Eddie grabs the tools we used to make the graves and begins walking back to the room where we usually keep our tools.
I stretch out my arms as I follow behind the boy. We soon made it to the room, by which Eddie then rests the tools neatly on the wall. He then turns to me, shouting, "we made so many resting places for people today, (Y/n)! I'm so happy they now have a place for a peaceful rest!~"
I giggle, nodding. "Yep! I bet they love the flowers I picked for them~ I made sure that each of the flowers matched their personality! Or, at least, what I thought would match their personality, hehe..."
Eddie giggles again, turning to his desk and looking at all of thee blueprints scattered across its surface. He took off his dirty gloves and placed them on the table with care, soon turning to the blueprints. He picks them up and examines them, soon shaking his head.
"Dang it! I messed up the math on this gravestone...I have to redo it now," Eddie sighs. He takes off his mask, revealing his ginger hair and downcast expression. He places the burlap mask down on the desk, running a hand through his hair.
A smile soon adorns my lips. I loved seeing Eddie without his mask. I found him adorable.
Eddie grabs a pen and begins redrawing the blueprint, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration. I could see him scribble out a few things and let out a groan of annoyance at his mistake.
Noticing the negative energy, I laugh and run over to Eddie. I hug him from behind. Eddie yelps in surprise and I rest my head on his shoulder. His face soon erupts into a blush.
"(Y-Y/n)! I'm t-trying to work on this b-blueprint!" Eddie stammers. I giggle and respond, "nope! Stop overworking yourself!"
After a few moment of protesting, the ginger soon melts into my embrace. He turns himself around and returns the embrace, much to my delight.
I yawn as I lay my head on his shoulder. We were roughly the same height, so my head rested comfortably atop his shoulder.
I soon pull away from the embrace, yawning again. "Eddie, I'm tired..."
"T-Then take a nap..."
"But then I'll be lonely!"
"E-Eh?! If you're tired, go take a nap!"
"Take one with me! Ae can be nap time buddies!"
"F-Fine!"
I let out a cheer of triumph before I grab Eddie's hand. I drag him over to one of our beds, plopping down onto it. I drag Eddie into the bed with me with a smile. Eddie's face was red with embarrassment as he pulls me close into a hug.
I rest my head against his chest, closing my eyes. I relax and melt into Eddie's embrace. Soon enough, I fell asleep and Eddie does the same. We both snuggled beside each other in our sleep.
It was a serene, dreamless sleep. However, it was soon interrupted by Eddie shouting at me.
"Hey! (Y/n)! Wake up!" Eddie shouts, shaking me.
"Ugh, no...two more hours," I mumble, rolling over and snuggling into the blankets more. Eddie then pouts, making me turn over.
I laugh and grab Eddie's arm, dragging him back into the bed.
"H-Hey! No, we need to g-get up!" Eddie shouts, earning a giggle from me. I hug him tightly.
"Nope!~ Let's just stay in bed all day and cuddle!" I exclaim.
After a few protests from Eddie, he then agrees. He sure was stubborn!
We both cuddle, a smile on each of our faces. The rest of the day was just spent in bed, cuddling. Nothing more nothing less.
It was a great time!
Except when we had to get up the next morning to make more graves.
"Hey! (Y/n), get up!"
"Just a few more hours..."
