Morning Coffee

The morning sun is warm and loneliness could be tasted in the air. A plain-white cellar and his old bedroom entered his view; somehow this confused him. How long has been since (YN) slept on his own bed? At least he has no recent memories of it.

His head hurting like fuck, no matter how sleep deprived he is, he would wake up at seven on the morning.

"I hate you, body..."

Mumbling curses and obscenities, he began his preparations for the day. A shower, clean clothes and he'll be good for heading out.

Breakfast you ask? He was no in the mood to prepare it, his head still hurt and his mood is awful since the strange late-night visit he had. Of course he will not see her again or so he hope.

"I'm heading out." He said his goodbyes to no one in particular, it was just out of habit.

Kamado Tanjiro retired from the Police department just a month after the incident. It was such a controversial decision since he was one of the 'rising stars' of the corps. But, he couldn't work anymore in there, he couldn't bare himself to be there anymore.

He opened his own business with her sister. The Kamado Dinner has been popular for sometime by now, be it for the delicious food, the two beautiful waitresses- Nezuko and Kanao- or for the so-called prince of the dinner: Kamado Tanjiro, who gives an exceptional service and his lovely cinnamon roll smile that warmed up the hearts of all the female clients.

The pink eyed waitress mouth made a perfect O when she saw (YN) pass through the door. She was so surprised that her usual greeting: 'welcome!' Never left her throat.

"Yo."

"(YN-san)!" She almost made him lost balance since the recently graduated from highschool threw herself to the grumpy man.

"Watch it!" He catches her saving hers and his lives. Both of you spun a little like two dancers and then you settled her on the ground "How are you doing little miss?"

"I'm good! I'll be helping my brother from now on since I have already graduated." She sparkled with happiness.

"You should really aim for college, but I'm not gonna lecture you."

He knew how much Nezuko hated the lectures, she was stubborn and love to pout her cheeks everytime someone tried to mess with her. But, her little attitude was no match for her desire to help her brother in any way she can, since he and Kanao are a couple the number of family members of the Kamado household increased by one, much to Nezuko's happiness; her biggest wish is to see her family big and healthy again.

"Who are you talking to, Nezuko?"

Tanjiro left the kitchen with his apron a bit dirty with some ingredients. Since he's in charge of the food during the first half of the day, he can't help but to have some stains from time to time.

When he saw (YN) his reaction was not different from his sister, that annoying and perfectly shaped O was plastered on his face.

"Hey, can I have a nice and delicious breakfast. Mr. chef?"

"(YN-san)!" His smile was bright and warm like you remembered, even though he refused to smile after what happened... seems like distancing himself from the corps was the best, at least he's beaming with energy again "I will prepare my best meal for you, Nezuko take him to his seat. Look forward to your meal."

"Yeah, I will." He said before shifting his gaze to the girl "Can you give me one of the tables outside? I want to give a go to some of this bastards."
