THE YEAR 2045

HE WAS RUNNING WITH ALL HIS MIGHT. Yet in the blurred white path, there seemed no end. The only sound that reached his ears, was the soumd of his own breath. He breathed continuously , but no air came in. His head dizzled, his limbs ached, but still he continued to run. Suddenly there was a loud sound from behind him, accompanied by a sudden shockwave, that took him off his feet, in thin air and crashed him among the rocks.

Bill woke up, cold in perspiration, to find himself in his bedroom. He sat still for sometime, recollecting his dream. Although the room was very cool, with the centralised wall-fitted Air conditioning rods, sweat was dribbling on his face. He was sitting, gulping in mounds of air, in complete exhaustion from his dreamly exercise. He sat there still, his muscles twitching while his head was shaking in drowsiness. But after a glance at his watch, he hurried up, got out of the bed and went to get ready.

Thirty minutes later Bill Watson walked out from his house. He was in his mid-thirties, ex-millitary, was six-foot-one inch tall, with the physique of an Olympic grade athlete. He was wearing a black jumpsuit above his baggy pants, through which his rippling muscles were clearly visible. He was in a fit form and walked with firm and swift steps which clearly displayed his physical endurance. This physical endurance was the result of his millitary Type normal and Type special forces training.

While gripping at his coffee mug, he took out a device , with an attached earpiece, from his pocket. After putting it on his ear, he pressed his fingers at certain points. Almost simultaneously, a light glowed on his watch and his garage door opened. From within it, his Lembourgini Gladiator came out, hovering just a few inches above the ground. It was a Matt Black sedan, with Fire Red stripes and a convertible roof. It was a Magno-hybrid, which meant that it could switch between physical road contact to  electromagnetic contact for traveling. He just waved his hands near the car, a vibration sequenced from his watch and almost instantly, a red and green light appeared from the car which covered his face. As the lights faded, after scanning his eyes and his face respectively, the car's hydraulic powered door opened up and the roof got crumpled up. All in all, it just took 2 seconds for the whole process.

After clearing in, he sat on the seat, inserted the mug in its holder and drove out. While driving he took out his spectacles from his pocket. As soon as he wore them, they started to glow little control discs on the glass. These discs alligned up, into certain patterns, to give the GPS based directions for the destination. He drove for about ten minutes before he reached the Martin Rd Switch. He then clicked up a switch which closed the roof and initiated the autopilot interface. He then slid out his briefcase and took out his tablet. After clearing the security checks, he opened up some some files. He scanned them for a few minutes, giving a final proofread to the AI oriented documents. After that he put up the tablet in the car's holder and again initiated the earpiece device, again by pressing. A moment later, a message, announcing the download of some new files, appeared on the tablet. He went through them and after editing, reframing, merging and securing them, he kept the tablet away and picked up his cofee.

He had barely finished drinking when the car came to halt on front of a huge dome-shaped complex. It was surrounded by a couple of security personnel and also by the humanoid robos. The building was very large, almost like a giant football. All around it was greenery, to sustain the air particulate index, to reduce the amount of arial pollutants. On the rear-top  of the building resided the chains of solar panels and also some hydrogen tanks, for meeting its electrical needs. It also had an immense number of tinted window panes, facing in all directions. In fact it had so many reflecting surfaces,  including its pure white fibre made surface, that for a space observer, it could be confused for a large light bowl, amidst the lust green cover of the large ground, which surrounded it. On the top floor there was a flat space which had a board, bearing the letters- "NASA: Titan Special Force Centre, Florida."
