*One year later*
It's been a year since I met Felix. Over that time I've gotten to know him more and I figured out a lot about him, like he's known for being a bit of a player, he gets mad at simple things and he's actually pretty smart. I've only had a few conversations with him since we met and most of them were over DM's so I would barely call us friends. Most of the things I know are observed or I get told about them from other friends but who he is inside remains a mystery to me.

"Oi! Are you listening to me??" Aubrey questioned. "Shit, sorry I zoned out again, what did you say?" I said guiltily " I was sayinggg that I still don't get why were in a science class room for home room like it's been a year, I mean we're in year 9 now ughh". I laughed at her remark because it was true it was our first day of year nine and we were still not in a proper home room.

We walked into class and sat in our usual spot, then we saw the group of boys from last year tumble through the door laughing and punching each other. I giggled at how the class seemed to light up when they walked through the door. "See someone thinks it funny!" Said one of the boys as they sat in front of Aubrey and I. "I wasn't laughing at whatever tf you said kid" I replied. "Ooo someone's feeling a bit bitter today, what were you laughing at then Hu?" He said in a slightly angry tone.

Usually I'm not one to get myself into confrontation but this idiot was just making me mad. "None of your god dam business dick head" I said much louder than my usual tone. "Oh no you're not getting out of this, it's my god dam business now giggles!" He said almost shouting at me. I rolled my eyes at him hoping that he would just let it go, I've always hated confrontation. "I'm talking to you bitch!" He said slamming his fist on the table. I jumped, eyes welling up with tears as I could see the pure anger in his face.

"Oi! Knock it of, can't you see she's getting upset. God you're a dick sometimes". I looked up to see who was speaking and it was none other than Felix. His friend backed of and walked away and Felix walked closer to me so his friends couldn't hear him. He look at me with a small smile and asked if I was alright, I just looked up with a weak smile and tears still welling in my eyes and said I was fine.

He saw right through my lie and grabbed my hand, looked me in the eye and said "it's ok, I'll be here to protect you from dickheads like him". I blushed and nodded before he walked away. Once he was gone Aubrey looked at me with a huge smile on her face and said "you're blushing!!". I giggled and hid may face in my hands knowing she was right. Dam this boy really did drive me crazy.
