We've been holding Rowe and Jonathan Rowe for almost a week now. Jonathan, better known as Slim, has agreed to talk numerous of times but only allows us information in increments of unevidential happenings. Isaiah and Kendrick have been taken into custody and we're just waiting for our last two to crack. I slid my glasses off my face and flipped the manila folder closed. Sitting back, I folded my hands behind my head and sighed. To me, it felt like this case was now going in circles. Who knows where Solana is right now?
Just as my eyes closed tiresomely and from frustration, one of my colleagues approached my desk and announced to me, "Jonathan's talking,"
Hastily, I stood to my feet and followed him to the interrogation room.
"T-That's all I know, alright!" He screeched, "I don't know where she is, she... She and my nephew ran off together a few days ago."
"Were they romantically involved?" I heard Detective Benson ask through the mirrored glass.
"I don't know how romantic it was, but I believe they had sex at one point." Jonathan murmured. "Unconsensually." He quickly added.
"Alright," Benson stood up and grabbed a pair of handcuffs from his hip. "Jonathan Rowe, you are under arrest for the kidnapping of Solana Rowe. Anything you say or do will be held against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one the court will appoint one to you-"
The rest of his Miranda rights became a blur as I watched the man who helped make an innocent eighteen-year-old girl's life a living hell for almost half a year.
At that moment, I realized that I didn't want Jonathan's brother to talk. Not until I found Solana. I wanted her to see that sick bastard she called a father for so many year carried away in hand cuffs.
Sorry, I haven't updated lately and this is so short, I also didn't edit or proofread so...Yeah. I hope you've enjoyed so far. Only like two or three more chapters left.
