A/N:

I feel that this one-shot highlights Aru and Nikita's relationship. A sassy little lost child with an older sister/sarcastic support system. What could go wrong?

Nikita was ecstatic to put it lightly. A whole Otherworld festival dedicated to fashion? Of course she would be excited! The best part of the ordeal is that there is a designing contest made to fit her age group!

Nikki got busy quickly. You could find her sprawled out on the floor of Mini's living room or on the kitchen table, furiously scribbling.

Sheela even commented that her dream workshop was flooded with crumpled designs. The junior fashionista wouldn't let anyone see her projects for they were "less than perfect", as she deemed them.

Finally, after a week of hard work, Nikita decided on a design that she deigned worthy enough and that wouldn't ruin her impeccable image.

"When can we see it?", Mini asked, leaning forward and pushing her glasses back up her nose. "Or take photos of it?", Aiden questioned, fiddling with Shadowfax.

Nikita had told them about the rules and regulations almost as soon as she had started working on the competition. The material had to be 100% natural, but enchantments were allowed. You had to show your original sketches and designs as proof that the article of clothing was your original idea. Fortunately, that wasn't a problem for her.

"Well whatever it is, I bet it's definitely prize-winning material!", Aru said grinning. She felt a strange sense of pride, though she had nothing to do with the competition at all.

But of course, with Nikki being Nikki, she answered in her usual way. "Of course it's prize-winning! What do you take me for, one of those D-list amatures?", she snapped back.

Aru rolled her eyes. "Forget what I said, I take it back", she sighed walking into the next room. Nikita felt a splash of hurt, but shrugged it off quickly.

"So to answer your question -", she said turning back and looking at the space next to Mini (a trick that one of her idols, Summer of the Seasons, uses A/N- I hate that guy >:( ).

"I will display it before my depart to the festival. Until then, no one other than Sheela is allowed to see it", the pandava sister proclaimed in a lofty tone. "And no paparazzi either", she she said giving a pointed look to Aiden.

The said boy lowered his camera with a frown. "Not paparazzi . . .", the photographer grumbled, trudging out of the room in Aru's direction. Mini stayed behind a bit longer, giving Nikita a weary smile.

"Just make sure you get some rest. You've been doing a wonderful job on this project, but you're not a machine. Oh, and remember to take your vitamins! They're very important at your age!". Then clutching Dee Dee, she followed Aiden into the inner rooms.

The young girl stood alone in the room, fiddling with her sleeve. She absentmindedly acknowledged her outfit. A simple sky blue dress with pale purple flowers on thick green vines slowly winding their way up the dress. A white cardigan with purple embroidery rested on her shoulders. To top it off, she wore plain black leggings.

Always keep your outfit in mind was one of Nikita's most important rules, though it was obvious that people like Aru paid no mind to what they wore.

The twin looked up when she heard soft footsteps padding quietly toward her. "Nikki? You okay?", Sheela asked in a hushed voice. The girl in question shook her head once before facing her twin. "Yeah . . . It's just that I'm not sure if what I've done so far is enough", she admitted in a rush.
