A/N:

The Potatoes are ready to get into the festive fun! This is my take on Halloween-related headcanons about all the characters up to Aru Shah and the Tree of Wishes.

- Boo will always pretend to dislike Halloween (children have fun scaring each other and stuff themselves with candy), but in the end, he demands first pick when Aru brings home a basket of sweets.

- Nikita is mainly in it for the costumes, she couldn't care less about the chocolate. Why? They get her spook-tacular creations sticky!

- Sheela agrees to model for Nikita on the condition that she gets to choose the final costumes.

- Aru tries to stay innovative with her costume every year (the flying blue monkey for example), but people just want her to stop.

- I can totally see Aru dressing up as "Lighting Girl the Superheroine" with Vajra as part of her costume. Most people are relieved (it didn't create a shameful mess) an impressed (it actually looked pretty good) about it. But don't say Aru didn't warn you about the static shocks!

- Mini has a lot of reasons to not like Halloween, like spiders, extremely sugary candy, and a germ-fest for example. But seeing her friends have fun is all worth it.

- Aiden likes to dress up as a universal classic character. Incognito Peter Parker (*ChoughLazyChough).

- When people see Brynne coming, they immediately hide the candy and hold up a sign that says, "Sorry, we're out of chocolate!"

- Aru and Brynne open a Halloween Candy trading booth for the Potatoes. This way Aru can have all the Swedish Fish she wants, and Brynne can gorge on dark chocolate.

- Rudy was puzzled about Halloween at first. If you dress up like something scary people give you candy? Only on one day? What was up with the human world?!  A/N: Sometimes, we all ask ourselves that . . .

-Rudy uses his "charm" to get more candy, and drags Aiden neighborhood to neighborhood, making the poor pandava-adjacent carry all his earnings.

- Urvashi coos over the particularly flattering costumes and then looks at the pandava sisters, shaking her head.

"Why can't you dress up like that?"

- Aru has a slight fear of anyone with a zombie costume. She still has nightmares about Aiden going heartless, trying to protect her.

- Brynne dominates any apple-bobbing competition, but she'll probably get too full to eat candy afterwards.

- Mini always tries to lecture them about the repercussions of eating too much candy, before giving up five minutes in.

- Nikki and Aru have a argument over costumes every year.

"They're supposed to be creepy, not some princess/witch gown!"

"You don't need a costume to look creepy SHAH!"

- Rudy likes to transform into his half-man, half-snake form for trick-or-treating. People just think that it's a really creative costume, so it is a win-win!

- Sheela had a vision about a haunted house in her sleep. Once she woke up, she begged one of the older girls to take her and Nikita to one. Mini was reluctant, but both Brynne and Aru offered to take them. Turns out, they had severely underestimated the power of a good haunted house (somehow Aru knew exactly where to go to see one). The poor girls were traumatized afterwards, and Aru asking to go again didn't help.

- All October, Brynne loves to create pumpkin-flavored things. Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin bread, and Pumpkin mousse are just a few. By the end of the season, the rest of the Potatoes are completely sick of the fall flavor.

- Nikita hates the pumpkin-carving competition ("You're taking out a plant's guts!"), but that doesn't stop her from making the most glamorous pumpkin decoration ever!

- Don't ask about Halloween dances. Like, just don't.

- If you ask Brynne and Aru, Halloween pranks should become a tradition.

"Remember last year? Too good!"

"Oooh yeah, Wifey got so spooked!"

"Kids these days . . . And I was not spooked!"
