Clarke waited for Alicia to return for the next five minutes, the panic inside of her heightened when there was no sigh of her. Clark called her name in a rush, yelling louder each time she hadn't received a reply. She knew she was putting herself in more danger by yelling so loud, but she couldn't stand the thought of Alicia being in danger. Clarke braced herself as she lifted herself off the porch, an agonising pain shot though her leg and she fell back down. She yelled in frustration, wiped the rain from her blurry eyes and checked her bandaged leg. Blood covered the bandage and leaked through onto her pale skin, dyeing her leg black. She could feel the skin being pulled apart even more and the stitches coming out of place, as she tried to stand once more.

Please be safe! Please please please! I can't loose you again! Clarke screamed inside her head, pushing away the pain she felt. Flashes of Lexa's lifeless body came into her mind, as well as the dark blood that she felt was still stained on her hands, nausea took over her body and she struggled not to throw up.

With a determined grip on the railing Clarke pulled herself up and clutched it tightly, she scanned the area ahead of her, called desperately and waited impatiently for a reply.

A figure stumbled in the distance, making its way towards Clarke. She squinted her eyes and released a relief filled sigh when Alicia appeared, she was soaked from head to toe and shivering forcefully. A muddy, cold puppy was snuggled into her arms and Clarke tried to move towards them. She stumbled, but caught herself as she came face to face with Alicia.

"Are you alright? I'm so sorry!" Clarke cried, the concern and guilt was clear on her face.

"I'm fine, we need to get inside." Alicia stated, clasping onto Clarke's waist with her spare hand.

"Why?" Clarke asked with a worried expression, already feeling like she knew the answer.

"There's a lot of them, and he's freezing." Alicia gestured to the puppy, and Clarke nodded, before Alicia helped her into the house.

Alicia led her to the couch and gently helped Clarke sit down, placing the small puppy on her lap. Alicia left for a second and returned with her blanket from the kitchen, placing it over Clarke and Popeye.

"Thank you." Clarke whispered, looking at the strong women in front of her. "You should have another shower, you look freezing."

"I will after I barricade the door, it's making too much noise and we're not safe until it's shut." Clarke nodded and tried to stand, slipping a sleeping Popeye onto the couch next to her. "What are you doing?"

"I can help."

"Not with your leg like that, warm Popeye and I'll be back with the first aid kit after I've done the door." Alicia replied, giving Clarke a small smile and patting Popeyes head softly, before she left the room. Clarke snuggled Popeye closer to her, rubbing him gently with the blanket, trying to warm him up and dry him off. When he felt warm enough, and Clarke could hear Alicia struggling with the door, she placed him on the couch with the thick blanket around him. She shuffled out of the door, trying to ignore the pain coming from her leg. Clarke made sure to close the door firmly behind her, as she didn't want Popeye to get out again.

"It won't kill me to help you." Clarke said softly, walking behind Alicia. Alicia, who had been struggling to hold the door closed and barricade it at the same time, nodded in defeat. Usually, she wouldn't have given in so easily, but the sooner the door was done, the sooner she could fix up Clarke's gash. Clarke held the swinging door shut with her body weight, while Alicia held the plank of wood against the door and smashed in a few nails. Once the door was securely shut, Alicia stepped away and examined her work. Clarke pushed herself off the door, finally feeling like it wouldn't blow open, and stumbled. Alicia caught her quickly, not hesitating for a second, and held her waist tightly. Clarke blushed red as she felt Alicia's arm around her, holding almost all of her weight with ease. Alicia's eyes scanned Clarke's frame thoroughly and fell on her dark blooded bottoms, making Alicia's eyes wide with worry.
