First Turn- Hosie (daughter)

Dear dairy,
I've been called everything, freak show, dangerous, an abomination, etc. I guess that's what I get for being a tribrid. I know what your thinking, my mom's a tribrid too, I guess it's just because I can siphon and use my actual power. Of course people bully me, I just don't tell my moms. It's sort of hard going through bullying and grief.. oh yeah I lost my aunt Lizzie 1 year ago..It's hard still. I'm currently writing this in my last class of the day, spells, I don't really need any help in that category. Anyway I like how I'm talking to this diary as if it was a person. Goodbye, my only friend.

I sigh and out my diary away as the bell rings.

"Uh Y/n, please stay I have to talk to you." I hear Dorian say as I was about to walk out the door. I sigh and scoff and wait patiently as everyone exits.

"I guess the freak isn't such a goody-two-shoes." I hear Andy one of my boy bullies say and I roll my eyes. I walk up to Dorian's desk and raise my eyebrow.

"What?" I ask with annoyance. He sighs deeply and pulls out my file.

"Y/n.. your grades have been slipping. That's not good for you. What's going on? Do you need me to get Emma involved, or worst.. your parents?" He says. I roll my eyes again and sigh.

"Whatever.. I'll bring my grades up." I scoff. " Is that all?" I ask. He nods and tells me I'm free to leave. I storm out of the classroom and into the hallway. I can finally go home.

I turn a corner and then I bump into someone. "S-sorry.." I stutter as I stand back up. I look up to see Penelope's daughter, Eve.

"Hello, Y/N. How's your day been?" She asks while smiling.

"It's been ok Eve, I'm happy I bumped into you and not.." I don't finish my sentence before she sincerely nods.

"You shouldn't let them boss you around like that, your the almighty Tribrid. You can beat their asses with a flick of your pinky." She says. I giggle and sigh.

"You always make my day better Eve." I say and she blushes.

"Well I have to get going, but I will see you tomorrow." I say and she nods. I exit out of the school and start walking home. I blast some My Chemical Romance through my headphones and stare at the beautiful surroundings.

I see my house behind the trees and I smile widely before I start running so I can see my Mom and Mama. I unlock the door with a quick spell and throw my backpack in a unknown direction.

"Mama? Mom?" I ask and look inside the kitchen to find Mama.

"Baby! How was school?!" Mama asks while crushing me in a hug and her Auburn hair slightly falls on my face before she pulls away.

"It was good." I lie. "Where is mom?" I ask.

"She is upstairs taking a shower. Come now I made your favorite, rice with beans and shrimp( 🤤)." She says and I nod eagerly. I sit down on a chair near the dining table and mama places down my dish before I thank her with a kiss on the cheek.

I start eating and then I see mom walking down the stairs with her ridiculously long legs. "Mom! Come eat Mama made rice with beans and shrimp!" I squeal out.

"That sound delicious! I'm coming right now." Mom yells and I can hear her sprinting to the dining room. Mama and I giggle and shake our heads. Mom kisses me on the forehead before sitting down.

I'm almost already done with my food when a memory suddenly floods in.

"Auntie Lizzie! The cupcakes are going to burn!" 13 year old me yells.
