You're gone- Hayley Marshall

*Flashback*

"Hayley, darling?" I hum as I lay on her shoulder.

"Yes?" She asks while sort of looking down at me as we cuddle. I rub my thumb across her hand.

"How's Hope been doing at school?" I ask.

"She's been awesome. I think people are starting to get used to the fact that she's there and she's getting along with Caroline's daughter, the brunette." She wiggles her eyebrows at the end of her sentence and I laugh.

"That's good. I honestly see her as a daughter. She is such a smart girl." I smile at the interactions I've had with Hayley's daughter.

"I'm glad you do because one day I want to marry you. I love you so much, you are the light in my darkness Y/N.." she says kissing my forehead and I start blushing furiously.

"Hm..stealing a line from Klaus I see. Charming. But, I want to marry you too Hayley.." I smile and turn to face her looking deeply into her eyes. She smiles and leans in. We kiss, and let me tell you, it felt like the first time we ever kissed. The butterfly's and the fireworks.

I groan quietly as I wake up. I look around to see that I am in an unfamiliar room.

"Oh...Y/n you're awake." Freya says as she walks in with Keelin, they have a sad smile for some reason.

"Why am I here?" I ask rubbing my head and sitting up. Freya sits at the end of the bed and grabs one of my hands.

"Um...I have to tell you something..and it won't be pleasant.." Freya says and she looks at Keelin sympathetically.

"Hayley..-"

"Did you find her?!" I interrupt.

"No. Y/n...Hayley is dead.." Freya says and looks deeply into my eyes sadly.

"What..." My eyes widen as tears cloud my eyes. She leans forward and hugs me. I wrap my arms around her waist.

"No...No!" I sob and repeat it a couple times. I shake with despair.

She can't be dead, we were supposed to live happily ever after...

"Freya..." I sob and shake my head, still hugging her. Keelin looks at me sympathetically before joining in on the hug.

"W-Where is H-Hope?" I ask still crying a river, but I'm concerned of the girl I think as a daughter.

"She's back in the compound. She took all of the hollow into her.." Keelin says. I nod and my head is killing me from crying so hard.

"We were supposed to get married...she was my epic love..." I sob again and Freya looks at me sadly. I wipe my eyes and stand up.

"I'm going to see Hope." I say and storm out of her room. I quickly run to the compound and knock on the door harshly.

"Coming!" I hear Klaus yell, I knock more and he finally answers the door.

"...Y/n..." he looks at me with a sad glint in his eye. I look at him and immediately hug him. He seems shocked but then hugs me back and sighs.

I pull back and he sort of smiles at me.

"Hope is in her room. Go ahead." He gives me permission and I head up. I get to her room door and knock.

"Hope?.." I ask and 5 seconds after I called her name she answers the door with puffy red eyes.

"Oh y/n..." She sobs again and I sigh. I walk into her room and sit her down on the bed while hugging her.

After she's done pouring her heart out I kiss her forehead.

"Hope... I love you like my own... She wouldn't want you to die because of that stupid Hollow.. which is why. I'm going to tell Klaus to get the Saltzman twins." I tell her and her eyes widen and she shakes her head.

"No..Y/n! I can't lose you too!" She cries. I hold her tight and smile sadly.

"I don't have anything here for me any more.. you'll have your family. I love you Hope. Don't be like your father." I giggle softly at the end. She sobs and squeezes me tight.

"I love you kiddo. Make your mother proud." I kiss her forehead and walk downstairs.

"Klaus!" I yell and he walks over to me.

"Yes Y/n?" He asks concerned.

"I'm going to take the hollow into me. Get the twins." I say firmly. He raises his eyebrows and his eyes turn to sadness.

"Y/n.. are you sure about this..? Don't act on impulse love, I know you loved the little w- Hayley.. but think about this." He says. I start to tear up.

"Klaus...I love Hope like a daughter, and I will not let her be an orphan. Go get the girls. Thank you for everything.." I say and he finally nods gives me a tight hug.

"You know you made me better for my littlest wolf...you and Hayley. I will forever be indebted to you Y/n.." Klaus says and walks away while pulling out his phone. I run my fingers through my hair and sigh heavily.

At least I'll be with Hayley...I say in my mind trying to make a light hearted joke...in my head? That's how you know I've gone crazy...

"Y/n... I can't thank you enough for this." Rebekah rushes over to me embracing me in a hug.

"So you've heard about what I'm doing." I smile sadly.

"You've done so much good in my dear brothers life it'll be agonizing to watch you leave us..I hope you find peace with Hayley, keep the fire warm for us will you?" Rebekah says with a tear running down her cheek and I nod.

'Magia tollox de terras' The saltzman twins chant while holding hands. I observe their power, I can tell they will be very strong woman in the future.

The twins yell and this blue light starts going in to a ball hovering over the circle. I take that as my cue to enter the circle but before I can Alaric sends me a sympathetic look. I nod to him and he nods back.

I enter it and the chanting resumes a little louder. Out of no where the light hits my chest like a lightning bolt causing my arms to go out sideways and me to start screaming.

It was painful. It felt like a knife was piercing my heart.

It finally stops and Alaric hurries the twins out of here. I take out the stake I had in my pocket and hold it out in front of me facing my heart.

I can faintly hear a feminine voice saying 'wake up'. I groan and feel hands on my shoulders forcefully shaking me.

I finally open my eyes to see Hayley. That immediately wakes me up and fling myself onto her, consuming her in a bone crushing hug.

"Hey love..That...Was stupid...but..you saved my baby girl." She says with tears coming down her eyes. I pull back and pull her by her shirt into a passionate kiss.

"Don't you ever leave me again." I whisper.

"I promise babygirl. Even if I wanted to, which I never would, I can't exactly leave, since we are dead and all." She smiles.
