[Chapter Three: Holly, Jolly]

The next morning, Beth awoke to her mom calling Will's name. Beth got up and opened her door, immediately colliding with Jonathan in the hallway. The two went over to Will's room and slowly creaked open the door, watching as their mom was whispering into the air, surrounded by a bunch of lamps.

"Mom?" Beth asked, cautiously.

"What's going on?" Jonathan asked.

"Jonathan. Beth. Come here." Joyce motioned for her two children to come over.

Jonathan and Beth traded a glance before walking over to sit next to her on the bed.

"It's Will. It's Will. He's trying to talk to me." Joyce said, grabbing her children's hands.

"He's trying to talk to you?" Jonathan asked slowly.

"Through the-through the lights." Joyce responded.

Beth's eyes widened, "Mom-"

"I know. I know." Joyce protested, "Just watch."

Beth opened her mouth to say something else but Jonathan shook his head.

"Will, your brother and sister are here. Can you show him what you showed me, baby?" Joyce asked.

The two twins looked around the room, waiting to see if their mom was telling the truth when suddenly a lightbulb flickered.

Joyce gasped and turned to them, "Did you see that?"

"It's the electricity, Mom." Jonathan protested, "It's acting up. It's the same thing that fried the phone."

"No." Joyce protested, "No, it is not the electricity Jonathan. Something is going on here! Yesterday the wall!"

"What about the wall?" Beth asked, curiously.

"I don't know." Joyce shook her head.

"Mom. First the lights, then the wall?" Jonathan asked.
