Part 34

**Mew's POV**

This was the most depressing thing I have ever been to. 

I didn't want to tell Gulf that though because he really wanted this to go okay. As it starts, all I could think about was if Perth was going to show up. 

He isn't the most vocal person when it comes to his feelings...

Kaownah's mom walks up to the podium and starts to talk about his past with his brother and a whole bunch of memories that they had gone through. After some time I see Off getting up in the corner of my eye and walking off. He probably just needs to pee...

Gulf: He taps on my shoulder and points to where Off just disappeared too. "I'm going to go make sure that Off Is okay, look after Gun for me."

Mew: I nod my head and turn toward Gun. "Hey, you don't have to worry about Off, Gulf just left to go check on him."

Gun: He smiles at me and turns his attention back on Kaownah's mom. "Thank you, I was going to go check on him but I think I'll just leave it to Gulf. They lost a lot more than we did so he might understand Off's pain better than I can..."

I glance back at the bathroom feeling a little worried but decide to just let it go and try to pay attention to what's being said.

Gulf likes to hide his emotions, it kind of drives me nuts sometimes but other times I'm kind of grateful...

After a few more family members and friends showed up and talked on the behalf of Kaownah, everyone started to disperse and that's when I notice two things as I'm standing next to Gun.

One, Perth has failed to show up...

And two, Gulf and Off still haven't come back from the bathroom yet.

I tug on Gun's shirt and point to the bathroom.

Mew: "Should we go make sure that their okay?"

Gun: He starts to head that way. "Yea that would probably be a good idea. I was starting to get a little worried. They've been gone for almost two hours..."

Damn I hadn't even noticed how long it had been... 

I was paying more attention on not crying, everyone is so emotional in here that it's really hard to not join in...

I follow Gun to the bathroom and we open the door to find Gulf and Off leaning on each other against the bathroom wall...

We walk over to them and take their arms.

Mew: "Are you guys okay?"

Gulf: He looks up at me with bloodshot eyes. "Yea were okay, we just wanted to remember them the way that we were back before everything went to shit..."

Mew: I pull him into my arms and help him stand up. "It's going to be okay Gulf, but right now there about to start the burial so we need to get going."

He nods at me and looks down at Off who was still on the floor.

Gulf: "Do you need help getting up?"

Off: He half smiles at Gun who was standing over him and shook his head. "No its okay, well meet you there in a few minutes."

Mew: I grab a firm hold of Gulfs hand and  use my other hand for my crutch. "Sounds good. Well meet you there." I look at Gulf and kiss his cheek. "Let's get going."

He nods and we start to walk away... Catching up with Kaownahs parents outside, we get onto a golf cart and wait for everyone to show up.

Gulf: He looks around looking a little sad. "Has Perth showed up yet?"
