Hoseok shivered as the fall breeze enveloped his thin frame. It was mid-fall, so the weather began to get chillier by the day. This day, in particular, Hoseok cursed himself for not grabbing a coat before leaving his apartment.

He walked to work every day since his shop wasn't far from his home. Hoseok was a florist, owning a small but popular flower shop by the name of HopeWorld.

He opened the shop not long after he graduated high school, his love of flowers too strong for him not to be a florist. At least that's what he tells everyone.

Hoseok smiled once he saw the small familiar shop come into view. He fished his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the glass doors, flipping the light switch as he walked in.

The brunette smiled softly as he walked around his shop, the sweet smell of flowers surrounding him. The shop opened in an hour, so all he had to do was make sure the place was clean and wait.

It wasn't too long before one of his employees showed up. Kim Taehyung. He and Hoseok have been friends for about 15 years now, so when Taehyung needed a job close to home, of course, Hoseok gave him a job. Taehyung loved plants as well, but never limited it to just flowers, much like Hoseok tend to do.

"Good morning, Taehyungie," Hoseok chirped from behind the counter. He busied himself with making a flower crown of various red, yellow, and orange flowers.

"Morning, Hobi-hyung," Taehyung smiled.

"Isn't Seokjin-hyung working today? Where is-"

"Seokjin has entered the building, Bitches!" Taehyung giggled at his boyfriend and Hoseok rolled his eyes but chuckled nonetheless. He and Seokjin have been friends for a while, but not as long as he and Taehyung have. They've been friends for 9 years.

"Ok, now that the lovebirds are here, start working before I fire you both," Hoseok smiled at his two best friends as he continued with his flower crown. His friends knew he was joking, he'd never fire them, but they got to work anyway.

Taehyung went to the back to check on the flowers he planted a few weeks ago while Seokjin watered the plants on display in the shop.

"Hey, Hobi?" Hoseok raised his head at the sound Seokjin calling him.

"Hm?"

"Is it ok if I get off a little early today? I've got plans with Kook tonight," The older pleaded, hoping his friend/ boss would say yes.

"What about Tae?"

"He will join us later. I want to spend some time alone with Jungkook since he's been working so much and I don't seem him often," Hoseok found it odd that Seokjin only wanted to spend time with one of his boyfriends. Normally the three of them were attached at the hip, never wanting anyone feeling left out in their unique relationship.

"Ah... sure. I'll have Jisung cover for you," Hoseok smiled.

"Why does Jisung need to cover for him?" Both males turned their heads to see Taehyung standing in the doorway that led to the back of the shop.

"Hyung asked if he could get off early to spend time with Jungkook. Did he not mention it to you?" Hoseok furrowed his brows and looked between the two lovers. Taehyung was confused for a moment before receiving a look from his boyfriend that luckily Hoseok missed.

"Oh! Oh, yeah. They told me, I just forgot," The youngest laughed it off and leaned against the counter. Hoseok thought the two were acting extremely weird but kept his mouth shut. It wasn't his business.

A few hours and customers later, the three friends were sitting at a small cafe near the shop on their lunch break.

"You think Jimin can hang out tonight? I haven't talked to him much lately, keeps telling me he's busy and will call me later, but never does," Hoseok subconsciously pouted, missing his friend.

"Um, I'm not sure..." Taehyung glanced over at Seokjin who shook his head.

"He told me he has plans with his boyfriend, Sorry Hobi," Seokjin added, the boy across from him pouting even more.

"Don't pout, Hobi~ I'm sure we can all hang out soon, okie?" Taehyung said, grabbing his strawberry shake and taking a few sips before his beverage was stolen by the broad-shouldered male beside him.

"I guess... I feel like we haven't hung out in forever I mean I see you two almost every day, but I never see Jiminie anymore. I just miss you guys, I miss us," Hoseok rambled on as he stirred his ice tea with the straw, his head propped up by his left hand as he watched the ice spin in the glass.

"I know, Hoseok, but you know Jimin. He's always busy, always has been," Seokjin frowned seeing his best friend so upset. Hoseok didn't have many friends, hell, he didn't know very many people, but the people he was friends with meant a lot to him. They were his family.

Hoseok just nodded and continued to stir his tea. "Yeah.."

After the break was over, Seokjin left since Jisung was already there. The day went on as normal, a few customers coming in to place or pick up orders, some just simply wanting to look around at bouquets and baskets of flowers.

Hoseok checked his watch, 7:48 pm. He sighed, wanting the clock to strike 8 so he could curl up in his bed and sleep his sadness away.

*With Seokjin and Jungkook*

"What did the boss need that was so urgent? He messaged me earlier and it sounded like he was in a panic," Seokjin asked as he and his boyfriend stood in the elevator, heading to the top floor.

"I'm not sure. He called me out of training for this," Jungkook shrugged. "You told Taehyung, right? I don't want him upset that we are coming home late."

"Yes, he knows. He said he was fine for a few hours and that he'd invite Baekhyun over while we're here," Seokjin nodded, wrapping an arm around Jungkook's tiny waist. Jungkook nodded, walking out with Seokjin as the doors opened.

The two made their way to the end of the dark hallway, Jungkook knocking on the large set of wooden doors in front of them. A deep "Come in" was heard from the other side of the door, so Jungkook pushed open the doors being met with a dark-haired male sitting behind his desk.

"Hello, boys," The male said, watching as the couple took a seat in the chairs in front of him.
"Boss," Seokjin and Jungkook bowed slightly before sitting up straight and looking directly at their boss.

"We have some unfinished business with the Aroha mafia," The raven-haired male before them smirked, the couple soon copying his action.

"Let me fill you in..."

Soooo... I'm actually kinda proud of the first chapter 👀💜✨
